Very much a pub with rooms but clean and comfortable for all that. Staff extremely helpful and even helped take our luggage down to the ferry at 7.15 in the morning.
Would recommend for one or two nights as a B&B
Lovely place to stay for a night on the way to the Isles of Scilly. As I was on very early ferry - especially appreciated the freshly prepared takeaway breakfast. Thank you.

Great for an overnight stay. No free parking need to park at nearby car park. Breakfast (full english) is excellent. The room is basic. Good location (5min walk) if you need to catch a ferry to isle of scilly. Within walking distance to town centre.
Liked position for getting to Penzance by train and for getting to Scilly. Room and breakfast was good but There was a band playing Sat evening until 11pm, which I should have been notified about but wasn’t. However this May have been due to problems with my phone.

Basic hotel room, clean but no attention to detail, dust on ledges & I removed a cobweb from bathroom ceiling. In short room just felt tired & in need of decorating. BEWARE! This hotel has live music & whilst they will inform you of any band after your booking, they don't inform you of inebriated people sitting around outside singing & shouting until past midnight after the band has finished. The band was that loud, the hotel provided free ear plugs on the tea tray in the room.
