This historic miners’ house, in a granite terrace built in 1860, has been fully refurbished to the highest standard as a perfect base to explore the spectacular Cornish coast and Lands End (Penwith) peninsular. Relax in the comfortable sitting room with its period features (including the original granite inglenook fireplace with woodburning stove), separate dining room or the sheltered sun-trap of the rear garden. The spacious upstairs main bedroom has a luxury king-sized bed, with 2 single beds in the adjacent small bedroom.

Named for its position, a quiet cul-de-sac in a conservation area at the head of the famously beautiful Cot Valley, Top Cot Cottage has everything you need for the holiday you want: from stunning sandy beaches and hidden coves, to walking the rugged coastal path, exploring the many picturesque remains of the mining industry or roaming the pre-historic landscape of the surrounding moorland. The house is really brilliantly located in the village close to the shops and cafes but also an easy walk to the coast and exploration of the historic tin mining area. We and our dogs enjoyed walks not having to go in the car, and the house provided everything we wanted to come back to. Comfy beds, sharp knives in the kitchen - everything very relaxing

Just a short break, 3 nights. Everything we needed to make our stay easy and comfortable. The dogs were very comfortable. Our host, Tony, provided excellent information, so there were no problems or issues on our arrival or for the duration of our stay. Fabulous location, so many things to see and do!

A very quiet cottage. Easy parking ( even for 2 cars) and walking distance to shops and cafes. The small courtyard garden is chilly in the late afternoon, but if you have camping chairs go to end of road (a few yards) where there is evening sun and a view of the sea. The cottage was clean and comfortable.

Excellent stay in an excellent location
The property was an excellent place to enjoy a few days away in Cornwall. Places to visit like St. Ives, Land's End and St Micheal's Mount are all between 15 and 30 minutes drive away and most could also be reached by public transport. St. Just itself offers great access to the coastal walking path and the short hike (20 minutes) down into the Cot Valley and to the small beach there is enjoyable and leads to a wonderful quiet little beach from which one can enjoy gorgeous sunsets. The property is definitely comfortable and spacious enough for 2 adults and 2 kids. The kitchen is well equipped, the bathroom is spacious, the low water pressure isn;t really a problem unless you're very hasty in taking a bath (but then you should remember you're on a relaxing holiday!) and the garden is sweet and lovely. We enjoyed breakfast in the garden every morning. The communication with the landlord was completely problem-free and efficient. The parking arrangements are very convenient. The village is equally lovely. The local Coop has everything you need to self-cater, the Red Star local Chinese Take-away has some fine Peking Duck, while the two local pubs we tried are also very nice. The King's Arms has a really nice menu where you could easily spend two dinners before having to resort to "pub classics" and "The Commercial" equally has an interesting menu. All at fair and reasonable prices and within 5 minutes walk from the cottage.

Quiet terraced house on the outskirts of St Just
Ideal location for us, with pubs, ice creams, pasties and more a short walk away. Able to walk to the coastal path, with fields at the RV no if the road which was ideal for the dog.
