Poor maintenance

This place located in the middle of some residential area and not fall into the category as a resort. There are no facilities to consider as a resort ,only a partial view of lake is a plus. We changed 2 rooms because their A/C unit was not working . The bed sheet was so old and so dirty. The bathroom towels were so old and dirty . There are no soap holder in the bathroom The whole room had bad odor, never go back again

Shocking

I can honestly say I have never experienced a hotel like this one. No record of my booking, apparently my booked room type wasn't available. The receptionist spoke no English. The security guard ended up finding me a room. I tried 4 rooms in one hour, all were damp and dirty. The security guard then doubled up as a chef and cooked me some food. Although I had booked in for 3 nights, I left first thing the following morning. No staff on duty at 7am so just left the keys on reception and walked out. Dreadful experience

Value for money

This hotel is 1 1/2 hours drive from Calicut airport. Cottage type rooms are better than the normal deluxe or suits. Rooms are clean with basic facilities. Good to stay for relaxing with Ayurveda massage treatment. Price is reasonable for 4 days course or 7 days course treatment. Restaurant is not great but they prepare on your orders. It takes about 1 hour to deliver. Not sure about quality of non-veg as we are vegetarians. Veg preparation was ok. This place is good if you consider Ayurveda treatment.
