This is an older property, but it is clean, basic, and has everything you need. It is well-maintained, and the location is great. There is an issue with WIFI. It's not good; this is due to the age of the building they have tried to upgrade, but it hasn't fixed the issues; apart from that, I have stayed here many times and would do so again. There is a beautiful French cafe about a minute away they offer good coffee and food and WIFI so that solves the problem for me.

The Hotel was very run down. Broken sink in bathroom There was No Brasserie as described on the Web site: so breakfast had to be eaten out every morning. Young man on Desk on our arrival. Not very welcoming or informative. Lady members of staff much more helpful.

Great stop over in the middle of Perth city. Did not actually stay the night so can’t comment on night. Beds were a little uncomfortable.

The location was great with all the directions to the shops and around the CBD by walk, the rooms are clean, provided everything what you need for an enjoyable stay here, all though the hotel inside was very quiet, due any renovations.

The Criterion is my go to accommodation when passing through Perth. Convenient to the CBD and Quay, and a quick Uber to the airport. Despite being an older building, I always find it clean, plus the bonus of helpful and friendly staff.

My room was large. Nice big bathroom…great shower. Bed was comfortable. Great location close to shopping, dining and transport. Easy walk down to Elizabeth Quay. Would definitely stay there again.
