This beautiful home is built on an 11.6 private acre land and is perfect for a family reunion, corporate retreat or a friends getaway. The estate is located on a quiet mountain away from busy highways and has beautiful landscaping, private pond, fire pit, hot tub, incredible views and is an ideal place for those looking for serene vacation in summer, autumn, spring or winter.

Great living and entertaining spaces are filled with natural light through windows and skylights. Enjoy gorgeous mountain views while having breakfast and coffee in the gourmet kitchen stocked with the chef's tableware. Read a book or engage in a conversation with friends and family in the sun room. Enjoy lunch with a glass of wine while taking in the views and sounds of nature on the deck or in the screened-in porch. Relax by a stone fireplace in the living room with a cathedral ceiling after a day of kayaking at Emerald lake, biking in Green Forest or hiking at Bromley, fishing at Gale Meadows pond or horse back riding, golfing or playing tennis or spending the day at the lake swimming and sun bathing. Art and food lovers will enjoy a day visiting a local farmers market, shopping in amazing Manchester outlets, eating out at a world-class restaurant, attending a concert at summer chamber music festival or catching a show at the summer theater festival. Animal lovers will love visiting a local farm and The Vermont Summer horse festival. Skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing or snowmobiling in winter is an easy option considering how close property is located to mountains: Stratton (20 min.), Bromley (8 min.), Magic Mountain (15 min), Okemo (34 min). The deck has a grill and offers incredible views of the estate's pond, as well as overlooking the hills and valleys below. Hot tub is located outside and has beautiful view of the back yard. A new generator is also on premises and powers all essential utilities and appliances in the event the storm knocks out electricity.

The property offers very fast Starlink WIFI connection, smart TVs, Direct TV and Netflix subscriptions. Smart systems include 6 Nest Thermostats and ADT security.

Eight bedrooms for up to 23 people are furnished beautifully for your comfort. You have a choice of 2 bedrooms with a king size bed, 3 bedrooms with a queen size bed (one has an additional wooden crib), 2 bedrooms with 2 twin beds, 1 bedroom with 3 bunk style beds. Master bedroom has a king size bed, whirlpool tub & shower and a loft with an additional single bed.

The beds were made and everyone had towels.One major concern is the water and ice that settles in the entry walkway is dangerous particularly when bringing luggage and food in and out. The walkway should be raised to at least the first step so the water drains away from the walkway.

Great house for a family ski weekend!

We stayed in Peru this past weekend and it was fantastic. This property is amazing. The house is very large and can accommodate many guests. An excellent place to stay with a large group. There were 14 of us, and we had plenty of spaces to gather, but it never felt crowded. The pond and game room were a lot of fun and kept the teens and adults busy. The fire pit was also a big hit. We found some great local hikes and swimming holes too!

Fantastic Family Weekend

We had 20+ family members ranging in age from 2 to 72. There was room for everyone and the property was exactly as we'd hoped. We spent our days on the beautiful lawn and evenings by the fire pit. The only disappointment was the wifi speed (probably more VT than this property and lots of people on at once). Julia was promptly available and very responsive when any questions/ issues arose. Great stay!

Home is very comfortable and spread out.

It would have been a huge help to have a floor plan showing where all the rooms are located. Saying that the guest suite was above the garage wasn’t enough. Stairs and long walk from main part of house.

Amazing Family Reunion

I organized a family reunion and we had a blast! We had about 40 people attend -- but only 20 stayed in the house. Plenty of room for everyone. The kids loved the hot tub and rec room and even caught some fish in the pond. The elementary school nearby has a great playground for the little kids, and Bromley's alpine slide, waterslide and assorted amusements were a lot of fun for the teenagers. Our family came from all over the country and this house made our time together special.

Stratton getaway

Our group was so thrilled that we stayed at this property. We shared the house with several families over our children’s February school break. Even with many people under one roof we were all very comfortable. Children and adults particularly enjoyed the game room, the kids loved sharing the bunk room and we everyone loved taking in the great view from the hot tub! Our host was accommodating and easy to communicate with at every step. We would all love to return to Peru and have every intention of recommending to our friends. Thanks for a great trip!

Birthday celebration

Family from MN/MT/OR and CA joined us. IT was a remarkable experience. The pond would have been nice to swim in more but there was only a dock access and fish that nibbled. The deck was lovely and the grounds beautiful. It was quiet and very special...no traffic noise. Everyone had a private bedroom and the game room was well used. The hot tub would have been nice but the weather was too warm and we left firewood for the next guests. It was very comfortable and we had a wonderful time. Thank you.

Wonderful long weekend

We had a great stay with five families, total of 18 people. There was plenty of beds and bedrooms for all. Expansive combined dining and kitchen area. Was an excellent communal gathering space, and yet there were plenty of other sitting areas for those looking for a quiet place. The sunroom and upstairs nook were great for reading. The downstairs rec room kept the tweens occupied with ping pong and pool. The downstairs bar was nice for the adults to have a beer (VT makes the best!) and watch the action. The hot tub was enjoyed by everyone, especially on the cold nights. Overall a very enjoyable stay and our host was very responsive when inquires were made. For skiers , the central location to several mtns worked well for our group. We came from MD, MA, NY & NH and all agreed they want to go back

Annual Family Gathering for Thanksgiving

Our extended family of 13 adults and 4 older teenagers enjoyed the size, location, and amenities in this Vermont house in the woods on 11 acres of land. The property is well maintained and is fully equipped for technology, TV viewing, and kitchen facilities. There are separate areas for gathering including a sunroom, screened in porch, game area on the lower level, large dining area and living room space too. The bedrooms and bathrooms are on different levels. An outdoor hot tub was a hit with the teens. There are many activities in the area, especially in the summer and fall. Julia was responsive with information about the property prior to our arrival and let us know that all was set for our arrival a few days before our travels.
