Lots of little details were great like the lights, the Nespresso machine, windowed mini fridge, outlet placement, etc. Being able to wake up with an espresso and watch the sunrise on the balcony was magical. We happened to stay at Costanoa during a particularly stormy time, so I premise this by saying our experience may have been different during a warmer time of year. We stayed in a tent and I definitely wouldn't recommend it when it is cold. During the night, the electricity went out along with our electric blanket; it was freezing! Thank goodness we brought extra blankets but we were still pretty cold. Another thing was that Cascade, the restaurant on site was closed when we were there and there was no mention of that closure when I booked. It would have been good to know, since we were planning on eating dinner there. Pine Tent was also closed when the electricity went out, so which was hard with both places being closed. Also, the wifi went out with the electricity and our devices didn't charge overnight. So, it was a challenging experience. I would like to come back in the summer and see if our experience is different.
