Really enjoyed the service and look of the hotel. The bar was good and I enjoyed the location. Valet service was a plus. My only complaint was that the elevator didn’t work so we had to take the stairs every time, even with the suitcase. Wasn’t a big deal for one night but would’ve been more problematic if it was for a longer stay.

Left behind some clothing. Staff states that they could not locate. I filled out the necessary forms after stay but did not get a prompt response. Had to follow up over a week later and was a hassle to get the right person on the phone. Front desk tried to push me off. I ended up talking to someone from housekeeping, they tried to push me off but I persisted. Eventually received an email that items were not found. I left behind the articles, my mistake, however, the customer service was poor at best. I’m not one to write bad reviews…this process was frustrating.

Fantastic hotel in a great location to explore Philadelphia; we were very impressed. The room was spacious and the hotel itself was beautiful with a lovely area around reception. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Great value for money in a hotel which felt very luxurious for the price

Excellent place!

Room was very clean and cozy, but a little tiny. I guess there is nothing can be done here to fix it :) the bar and food were excellent. Stuff is very friendly. Location is convenient and close to everything: landmarks, restaurants, Reading market, chinatown, shopping mall.

Hotel is conveniently located in Center City. It's a couple blocks from city hall, and a couple blocks from Reading Market and the Fashion District. There's a donut shop attached to the lobby, with a bagel place and brewpub across the street. It's about a 15 minute walk to Independence Hall/Liberty Bell, and the Museum of the American Revolution is another couple blocks east. Art Museum and Franklin Institute are walkable, but it's like 30-40 min, so we just drove. The hotel itself is great...very clean with a retro vibe. Not sure when it was built, but if I had to guess it's only a couple years old. All of the public spaces are in great shape. I'd definitely stay here again.
