The Bed was Comfortable..
Thanks to Hotels.com I was able to get a great rate on my stay at the Philly Inn & Suites. On my day of check-in I arrived at the location and was unsure until I was up on it that it was the correct address. The exterior looks more like a corporate office than an actual hotel. Also, as the main sign sits back off the sidewalk it wasn’t until my ride share was letting me out that I realized I was at the correct place.
As check in is at 3:00 pm and I arrived at 11:30 am, I was unable to check in as there isn’t an early check in option. I asked if there was a business center and was advised there was not. As there was not a business area I sat in the lobby area and worked until it was time to check in. Sitting in the main area, which was very clean, I realized that the pictures online, though they are current, they had to be filtered. The Philly Inn & Suites looks a bit outdated, however, it has undergone a recent pair face lift. The colors are very vibrant and inviting. However, the foundational structure beneath the colors and amazing portraits is dated.
Once I was checked in I headed upstairs to my room. I got to the third floor and the same remained true for the living area. Vibrant. Great paintings. Older structure, new reface via paint.
I loved the colored room doors as it puts you in the mindset of elementary school (for me it did). Once I opened my door, I was pleased to be met with a clean room. A nice tiled floor, and a huge bed. The bathroom was a nice size and
