Honestly 5/5 experience and room. Very welcome front desk staff and the rooms were fantastic. Downtown Philly is awful for getting affordable parking, but at least they have a deal with a parking garage 4 blocks downs to get half off parking.

So many great things I could say about my stay at ROOST Midtown. I stayed in a one bedroom and it was very spacious and clean. I liked that there was somebody at the reception area 24/7. The kitchen was well equipped. They provided a water jug that could be refilled with their filtered water, still or sparkling. Walk-in shower, blackout shade in the bedroom. I think the best part though was how quiet it was! I heard such little traffic noise I couldn't believe it! I've stayed in several other places in Philadelphia over the last year, all of them had a lot of traffic noise. I will definitely choose ROOST again the next time I return.

It was an okay experience, but for most of the day on day 8 there was no running water or a running elevator. They did not make this right and did not even grant us late checkout the last day. Very dissapointed in their customer service.

The room was on the ground floor and the sidewalk was literally outside my bedroom window, the blinds did not fit correctly so people could walk past and see me lying in bed. Aside from feeling incredibly unsafe the room was positioned right next to very busy road and was underneath a noisy bridge. I did not sleep a wink.

Fake hotel

Awful. This is not a hotel. It’s an apratment building, which pretends to be a hotel. During our stay the power went out. There was only one lift that is allowed for ‘Hôtel’ guests. All others are for residents. Which stopped working. Nothing else worked including shower, internet, plugs, lights for a good 5 hours. We were stranded. We tried an outside number but they don’t have anyone, as all, working. It’s a facade. The gym is in disrepair. Stains on the ceiling.

Can’t wait to stay here again. Only issue was just trying to find the place because you couldn’t tell that it was the place until we asked the guy at the desk. Otherwise, amazing!

Solo Trip

Great location, clean, friendly staff and safe. Just a short 5-10 minute walk to restaurants and activities. Right in the center of the city (Center City). They use Le Labo body care products, the Santal 33 scent. Smells so good! They have everything you need to cook and even do laundry.
