I stayed overnight because I had surgery down the street at Jefferson Neurosurgery Hospital and this was convenient for me coming from out of town. There is not on-site parking but there is a covered parking garage with overnight parking directly across the street that is a Parkway lot. The hotel is very nice, but it is an old center city building so it is NOT handicap accessible in any shape or form. I would not recommend this place to any one who is claustrophobic as the elevator is quite small and some halls are very narrow. The room itself was very neat and clean. The bed was great. Heat/AC ran off a weird window split ductless unit that seemed to work well and helped cover the street noise. If you are looking for convenience to theaters, convention center, and the hospitals, this is a great option.

The room was heated by a noisy and inconsistent window unit. The refrigerator was also noisy and buzzed all night even though it was in a cabinet. All but two TV channels were snowy, some better than others.

We paid nearly $600 for a room that should have charged $150 (and only becuase it was in the city center.) I understand that they were taking advantage of the fact that it was the Philly Marathon weekend, but I still cannot give it a rating any higher. I should say the staff were nice, but overall this is a 2 star hotel, nothing more.

The staff were nice and that’s the only reason I’m giving this place at least 2 stars. The first room I was given was a handicapped room- which I felt they should have probably saved for someone who was handicapped, and it was as hot as a sauna! I requested to switch rooms and was given a room on the 4th floor which smelled like cat pee, and there was an old sandwich in the fridge that I politely brought down to the front desk attendant. The shower shelves and toilet paper holder were likely installed by someone who doesn’t use a leveler since everything was crooked to the point that none of my toiletries were able to stand up and slid down. Also, the walls are verrrrrrryyyyyyyy thin- so thin that I could not only hear every conversation the people in the room next to me were having, but could also hear their phone vibrate and other bodily sounds. Would not recommend this place.
