It wasn't easy to find. Right on Temple University campus. Parking is not clearly marked. The hotel is very out dated. Rooms are small. No microwave or refrigerator. The ice machine was broken. The bed was very soft not supportive. The bathroom had no counter. I have never spent $250 to spend a night at a hotel and I expected way more than I got. Would NEVER stay again.

Honest Review - 3.5/5 would probably stay again: I wish the name of the property included a hint that you are literally staying on campus at Temple University! Apparently the neighborhood where Temple is located is the worst/most dangerous in Philly; there’s no reason to mince words it is the hood and it’s not an area you want to venture through when the sun goes down - with that said I grew up in the S. Bronx so I wasn’t bothered by it however some travelers scare easily if this is you I’d go stay elsewhere. There is zero signage indicating where to go or turn and the parking lot is an alleyway that goes behind 2 buildings. Make sure to pay for parking when booking the room as it is limited however I felt my vehicle was safe as there is a campus police office on the corner of the building where the Inn is located. Every time I walked past it there was a cop in there monitoring the security camera feeds and the alley and parking spaces have several cameras. The staff was FANTASTIC! I had to call and the lady that answered was super helpful - very clear and concise with directions. The inside is nice as are the rooms. The room I selected didn’t have a fridge in it and the bed was very soft so if you’re someone that needs a firm bed to sleep on this might be something to consider. I came to Philly for a comedy show, took a Lyft bc parking in the city is insanely pricey.

Room was shabby, linens stained, torn and had long, black hairs in both beds and on the towels. Carpet stained and ceiling damage in the bathroom from an old leak dropping paint flakes on the counter and floor. Front desk girl literally said she didn’t know what to do when I called. For $258 a night, very disappointed.

The hotel is in an excellent location if visiting Temple. It's located on campus! The room and common areas were clean and tidy. The staff was very professional and kind. Parking is convenient but you have to pay, either for a nearby garage or the hotel. The cost to park on the hotel lot was $20. Downside: the hotel needs updating, especially the bathrooms.

a $216.00 parking charge incurred during my recent stay at the Conwell Inn. Prior to arrival, I was explicitly instructed to park in the Montgomery Lot. I followed those directions exactly, only to later learn this was incorrect information, resulting in an excessive and unexpected fee.

Clean room with a friendly staff. Finding the hotel is difficult because it is on Temple University's campus. The entrance is very obscure. I had to call the front desk to find the entrance. GPS is absolutely no help. However, once you are in, the place is very nice. The only issue was that the tub in room 310 is starting to rust. A relatively minor detail. Overall, the place is beautiful, clean, and secure, and I will definitely be back.
