The room was dated and the hall partly torn up. The staff would start banging doors at 6:30 am, talking loudly, and COOKING food in the room adjacent to ours. It was like trying to sleep in a fry kitchen. It only stopped the day we left because I complained to the front desk. The cooking- not the rest. Housekeeping never came to our room because we weren’t out before 8:30 am. No towels no fresh cups no garbage pick up. The lobby is nice and the location. But would not stay again. I’ve never had a room that reeked of cooking oil.

Second stay here. Incredible value for its location. Massive room with walk in closet. Friendly and helpful staff give the place a lovely vibe. Definitely the place to stay when in Philly

The furniture in my room was in very bad condition. The bathroom tub had rust around part of the tub and the stand that holds the sink was in terrible condition. Rugs also needed replacing. The lobby was nice .

The hotel, while sporting a cute and modern lobby, was a disaster. It’s not clean. The hallways were a mess and needed to be vacuumed. The mattresses— super uncomfy. The sheets and blanket and pillows- not comfortable. The gym— 1/5 treadmills worked and the water cooler was empty. Truly disappointed in our stay.

Relaxing stay in Philly

The Warwick is located in the Rittenhouse Square area, making it accessible for using public transportation or walking to the various landmarks in the city or University of Pennsylvania. The hotel staff was extremely nice and helpful. The hotel itself needs some love and attention. The room we stayed in needs painting, the plumbing both toilet and tub drained slowly. The carpet in the room was very worn and imbedded with dirt. The gym is very well equipped but several pieces of equipment were out of order. There are signs in the lobby indicating that there are renovations planned for 2026. I hope they keep the ambiance but upgrade the worn parts of this fine hotel.

Once glorious

The carpet was stain , dusty and soiled. The legs in the bathroom sink were severely rusted. The door leading to the bath had a thick layer of dust on the trim. The furnishings were wuite shabby and dated.
