Bar, Cleaning & Front Desk staff were friendly & helpful. We were thankful for the coffee maker & blow dryer they provided when requested. We had room 27 that is small but had what was needed. It had one window that faced the pool with a small view of beach and cruise ships. The only negatives were the bed was uncomfortable & could use more or thicker pillows and a light blanket. We made due and did not ask for them. Also be aware the restaurant & bar closes at 8pm with nothing available after. The whole Boardwalk closes early especially once cruise tourists leave. You must plan your dinners before 7 pm in most restaurants.

The older of the two ladies at reception was just Downright rude , she was cut , she was dismissive , she was impolite and did not make my first interaction with the hotel staff a good. one. As anticipated, the room was dated carpets, old furniture and fixed things. Very outdated shower. Though clean also was outdated, I got sufficient hot water to take a shower. The bet was soft and uncomfortable.. By far the highlight of my stay was my interaction with the lady in the market, I don't remember her name but she was very pleasant, very cheerful had a very upbeat personality engaged to me kind of helped me find what I was looking for coupled with Elaine behind the bar who is the consummate professional engaged me in small talk. My drinks were good.The service food was good.Suggested that I go for a walk along the boardwalk , to experience that told me they were exercise equipment at the end of the boardwalk , so she was very helpful overall. She is a great credit to the hotel. However.the price for the hotel was commensurate with the quality of the rooms and the fixings therein.So I can't complain, had my experience with the staff at reception been better.You would have gotten a better rating.

The hotel is not set up for handicap people. The lobby is on the second floor and there is no elevator. The room and washroom was clean but small with little room to move around the bed when entering the room. There was no hairdryer in the room and the amenities were small. The staff was great and helped with any concerns, especially the manager , "John". The location is wonderful as it is on the main street which is ideal for shopping and the beach was right behind the hotel. There was a lovely pool but there was no handrail, making it difficult to enter and exit without assistance.

Room was clean and met our needs. I would say the hotel could use a renovation but it was not uncomfortable. The staff were lovely and the location was perfect and close to the cruise port. I would make it 5 stars with a renovation.

Although location is great and only the staff in reception were polite, professional and courteous, unfortunately the amenities were not great. The personal in the bar / restaurant at the pool were very nasty and rude. They are more concerned to the “day pass” for the cruise than their client. I won’t be returning to this particular place neither will suggest it to others.

The location was perfect. The beach amenities were perfect. (They did not warn us about the $3 per day beach towel charge, it would have been nice to have known that up front.) Our room was clean, but it desperately needed a paint refresh. We had no chair for the first few days of our trip and there was no table lamp. The safe didn’t work, so we needed a key to use our safe. We started day one with hand towels, but that was it. We never saw another hand towel again. Would I book again? I would. The outdoor staff were very nice and you can’t beat the location on the Boardwalk. There is a delightful cheese shop at the end of Front Street and because we had an in room fridge, we were able to have charcuterie for lunch each day. Your best bet for breakfast is their cafe next door. The breakfast bar was delicious. I highly recommend the pancakes. Try the Johnny cakes! Overall it was a lovely vacation.

The room was in poor condition, with old and dirty furnishings. Floor tiles were filthy, and bathroom tissue holder was broken. It was extremely noisy inside the room. The exterior of the hotel was not very representative of the interior. This is not a place that I would return to or recommend.

We found the hotel while on a cruise and with the pool right out front on the beach we decided we would like to come back sometime and stay a week.We booked the room on beach side with a large deck overlooking the beach with a kitchen. We just loved it! It was perfect and while we never did use the kitchen, only to make coffee every morning, the restaurants were excellent! Very relaxing week!
