Beautiful Hotel - Amazing Value

Been staying at this property for four years through French and now Chinese ownership. Phnom Penh has changed so much so fast, yet this lovely hotel continues to impress. Stylish architecture, immaculate rooms, beautiful pool and generous gourmet breakfast. A pleasure to see many of the same staff continuing to provide friendly and accommodating service. So happy to have a home away from home when I return to this great city.

Lovely hotel

Found villa silk rd hotel to be charming. Very big comfortable room with large balcony and comfy chairs. Fridge and kettle in room. Tasty breakfast served by smiling attentive staff. In a good area with bars and restaurants just a short walk. No lift but help available for luggage so not a problem. Would definitely stay again. Nice pool. Friendly helpful staff.

Good hotel

Nice quiet room with balcony, chicken fried rice for breakfast was hard to beat, very nice & very large portion, also fruit .Close to mini mart, restaurants, central market was close enough to walk to & also river was too. Staff very helpful with booking tours & onward bus journey. Would recommend

Value for money, great service.

Great location for Street 51, Palace and the riverfront. Wonderful staff, happy to help, breakfast was decent, reasonably priced. I didn't use the pool because the weather was quite cold but it looked clean and a nice space. I would definitely go back.

Stay was normal but was very disappointed as we where lock outside the hotel when we return back around 1am on the 2nd day. We try knocking on the gate, press the bell, car horn and call the counter but no response, only manage to get them to open the gate when calling their handphone number.

Excellent Renovated Villa

The hotel has a charming and pleasant interior, nice rooms with bright windows and plenty of balconies and terraces. The small pool is enough to refresh oneself. The breakfast is ok, nothing really special. The staff is friendly, cooperative and available to help.

Good choice for a budget stay in Phnom Penh

Stayed here twice recently. Great staff, reasonable breakfast & comfortable rooms. The property is looking a little tired & could do with some TLC to bring it up to standard. Having said that, we were happy with our choice & would stay again. Wifi ok & location good for major sites like the Palace, genocide museum etc. If you come by tuk-tuk tell the driver that the hotel is on the corner of 184 & Pastuer as none of them seem to know where it is!! The hotel is next to the Secret Villa.

Eaten by bugs in a pretty hotel.

I stayed last year when it was French owned. It is now under Chinese ownership and standards seem down. My first two nights I was eaten alive by some unseen bugs. I informed the manager who immediately had an exterminator show up to spray the room. It was OK for two days, but my last night I was bitten to pieces again. I left with a pox of welts all over my body. Too bad because the staff is great and architecturally the hotel is lovely. Avoid shaving with the free razor. It is cheap junk that tore my face to shreds.
