This property was perfect for our larger family. We had a girlfriend with us and the casita was great for her to be separated from the family for sleeping and having her own bathroom. The owner has thought of everything to make your stay perfect. Lots of towels, pool towels, a well stocked kitchen that wasn't missing anything, filtered water spout, etc. The house is very well sound proofed so you don't hear noises from other bedrooms (like we had with crying babies). The downstairs master suite and bathroom was a nice oasis for my husband and I. We loved the covered patio and spent a lot of time there. We happened to be in Arizona during an early heatwave so we were also indoors a little more than we might have preferred but you can't control the weather. The upstairs seating area and TV provided extra space for our toddler children to play and watch children's shows while adults watched March madness downstairs. The location is in Gilbert is admittedly in the far reaches of the Phoenix area so if you are hoping to do activities like go to the zoo or Scottsdale, be prepared to drive. However, if you are just coming to relax and hang out, this is a perfect spot. We ended up not going to Costco and did all of our grocery shopping at the Fry's which was a 5 minute drive away. If we were to return to Gilbert with our family, we would not hesitate to stay again. The owner is very responsive to any questions or issues we had.
