The check in time was supposed to be at 3 pm, but when we arrived at about 5 pm, the maid was still there and didn't know people were coming. She was a very nice lady and asked for another hour. We had been traveling since early in the morning and hadn't eaten yet so we decided to go grab something to eat. We were gone for about an hour & 1/2, and she was just leaving when we pulled up close to 7 p.m. It would"ve been nice to just get there and relax, but not a big deal. After we got in, the house was very well appointed, had everything you would need and looked to be in really nice shape. The bathroom floors and master closet floors could've been cleaned better for sure and the silverware drawer had a lot of crumbs in it. (Not to pick, just noting this hoping it gets addressed). When we went outside to lay in the sun in the morning, we noticed how loud the traffic was, and had no idea this house's backyard abutted a VERY busy road. We were however very happy when the pool fountain turned on at 10 a.m. as it greatly helped drown out the noise but then turned off at 3 pm, just in time for rush hour. ( bummer!) There were alot of tiny ants running around the pool area making it slightly uncomfortable to sit on the edge and hang feet in the pool. Again, I'm only referencing these things hoping they get addressed because otherwise this house's location was wonderful, the house itself, well appointed and a nice stay.
