Disliked: Cleanliness, room comfort, communication
I drove into the neighborhood and it is an extremely dangerous area. One of the houses next door was boarded up. The other one had the windows blown out with sheets in the windows. There were people everywhere with their shirts off and trash and empty alcohol bottles in the streets. I called immediately to let Expedia know that I was not safe and felt in danger.
I spoke to someone there that indicated that the company (RedAwning) needed picture proof of me being in danger. It was past dark and your company wanted a young woman to not only reenter a dangerous neighborhood, but to linger long enough to get pictures in the dark.
The situation was escalated and your company still insisted on receiving pictures of the neighborhood. Again, the insistence was that I endanger myself.
In the daylight hours, I returned to the neighborhood and got the pictures that were insisted upon while endangering myself.
After sending the information, my claim for refund due to misleading pictures posted from the area was denied. I am appalled that endangering young women is apparently what your company enjoys doing.
