A DREAM STAY

This place is beautiful, private and in a beautiful location. From the minute you arrive you will feel very looked after by your stuff polite a tentative and there for each of your needs. We needed to get a buggy to our room each time as we were high on a cliff with a beautiful for you and the buggies service with staff is impeccable. They are always there within minutes if you call for one. The pools are high class and very inpressive. You wont be disappointed with staff. Everyone goes above and beyond. Even the security at the entrance are so friendly... we loved this place and highly recommend. Its in a quieter location which is great, but easy to get to hustle and bustle if you want to shop. Sunset suri its minutes walk to a beautiful swimable beach. Which our kids loved. Highly recommend We would stay again! 5 STARS

Wonderful stay

Pros: Clean rooms Pools Polite staff
Cons: Buffet dinners relatively expensive compared to eating outside of hotel
Location: Nai Harn beach Fish markets at Rawai
Just returned from staying at this great luxury hotel for 10 nights with a family of four (including two children). I concur with many that have already reviewed the hotel. It is a great hotel with fabulous swimming pools, very clean rooms, polite staff and attentive management. The location is convenient and only a short walk to Nai Harn beach. The breakfasts included in the room rate were delicious and satisfying. We never walked away disappointed. The hotel is built on the side of hill providing great views from the rooms. You will need to walk and climb stairs, so a moderate level fitness is necessary otherwise you will be dependent on waiting for a ride from hotel staff. The hotel was also kind enough to allow a late check out on our last day. The only negative comment I could make is the cost of the buffet dinners which in my opinion ends up being quite expensive when paying for a family of four. There are cheaper options outside the hotel, though a short walk to the beach or 10 minute taxi ride to Rawai will be necessary. Otherwise an A plus rating is thoroughly deserved. Thank you Sunsuri hotel for a pleasant and enjoyable stay.

Quiet retreat in Phuket

Pros: It was great relaxing on our large private balcony. The buffet meals at night always offered an excellent variety of food at a reasonable price.
Cons: The breakfast buffet was very good apart from the eggs, which were not always cooked to order, and sometimes served cold.
Location: It is a short walk from Nai Harn beach, a beautiful spot to swim and watch the sunset while enjoying a cocktail at one of the beachside restaurants.
Built on a steep hill above Nai Harn beach, Sunsuri is a modern resort with very comfortable and spacious rooms. The four connected pools and large public areas create enough space to enjoy some privacy even when the resort is busy.

Too many stairs

The hotel itself is nice, and the food and breakfast is good value for money. But the rooms themselves are too far away from the main hotel, you are reliant on a golf buggy. There are too many stairs which would be unsuitable for the elderly or people with kids. Nai Harn beach not all it's cracked up to be. Spa services were great and very reasonably priced.
