Stayed here for a wedding years ago. Has not been maintained. Walls falling apart, furniture dirty. Would not stay again.

Place has not seen care taking for years. Nothing about this place is up to date or anything like what hotels should be in 2010 let alone 2025. Room temp was 90° on the thermostat the door was crooked and barely stayed closed every surface was dirty. The toilet hadn’t been cleaned in who knows how long and the smell in the room smelled like it was formally the apartment of a 2 pack a day smoker. Worst experience I have had in a long long time at a hotel.

I travel for a living, and honestly, this could be one of the worst properties I have ever stayed at. The room was not clean, and there was no hot water. I was in town for a conference and needed to iron my clothes and the bottom of the iron was completely black. When I asked for a replacement they brought me one that looked exactly the same. There was a significant gap between the top of the door and the frame (room 233) so you could see into the room from the outside, even with the door closed. The gym is a storage closet with a 20 year old treadmill. Not a good experience. Expedia should not be selling this property.

It was located conveniently to restarurants and the State Capitol where we had business. The bed was comfortable. The two young men who were running the business were courteous and helpful. The property was very shabby. Looks like it was built in the 80s and has had no refurbishment at all. The price was too high for the quality of the property. Will not likely stay there again unless the price is significantly lower.

The beds were comfortable and clean. The room, hallway and outside was dirty. For our family it was a place to stop and sleep before getting back on the road so it suited our needs for the $95 price for a family of 6. But if you are looking to STAY at a hotel…this isn’t the one.

The hotel overall was not well maintained. Our room was dirty and overall in poor condition. Only 1 ripped chair for our entire family of 5. There is also no elevator, so we had to make multiple trips to carry our various bags. Many of the outside doors didn't lock so anyone could walk into the hotel. We actually didn't end up staying. After seeing the overall quality of the hotel, we decided to switch hotels.

Bad time in Pierre South Dakota

Couldn't get in our room went to desk twice about it .only for maintenance to open just any room and said there you go..it was loud all night beds was bad and uncomfortable...place looked really ran down

There was a spider in the shower, the door going out into the hallway had a 2-3 inch gap on the bottom, same with the joined room door. you had to put your body weight into closing the bathroom door. people were either smoking in their rooms or the halfway-ours smelt like smoke. My daughter and I went to go get ice and had two guys watching us so my boyfriend came out with us. There was a man vacuuming at midnight, right outside our door. Definitely false advertisement, the photos were probably from when they were brand new, definitely not what they’re like now.
