An excellent place stay

A clean comfortable property with a welcoming host. Everything that we needed was provided. The property is approached via a few steps or a grassy slope. The weather has been cold and we very much appreciated the electric heaters in each room.

Picturesque GĂźte, perfect for a family

This property was the perfect location for our first stay in the Provence region. We loved the property and would enjoy coming again when the weather is warmer to swim in the beautiful pool. Frederic was a most wonderful and gracious host and we had everything we needed! The town of Pierrevert was a fantastic choice. We were immediately welcome by the locals to join in their Friday happy hour. We will be back.

Perfect location

Delightful property for anyone staying in Pierrevert. The cottage is well stocked and beautifully presented. Definitely the best of the good properties we have stayed in on this trip.

Beautiful Property

Great views, especially from the swimming pool that was much appreciated during the heat wave. Comfortable accommodation, easy walk into town for the essential breakfast croissants, and driving distance to many wonderful hilltop villages. We were warmly welcomed by Frédéric.

From the very warm greeting by the host to the comfortable beds, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Beautiful location that feels secluded but is quite near a big town that has everything you will need. We spent the day in the Parc Naturel, exploring Verdon Gorge and Moustiers-Sainte-Marie - just beautiful!

Lovely place

Great position to see the mountains, the gorges and the coast. Nice little village and also close to Manosque for shopping. We had snow and loved it but the pool would be fantastic in the summer too. Nice clean cottage and helpful hosts.

Excellent accommodation well equipped and spacious, comfortable beds, good storage for clothes etc, seating in living space comfey. Appreciated the wine and local produce upon arrival superb. Pool was excellent with stunning views. If you like to have tea or coffee in cups then pack your own..... Apart from that the kitchen is fully equipped with top notch appliances. The village centre is only a shortish walk away for those essential croissantsđŸ„ definitely would return if we are in this part of France again

This property is wonderful. Very comfortable and well equipped. We were welcomed by Christine with some lovely wines and preserves. Then treated to a wine tour of local winery by Fredrick. Perfect location to explore surrounding villages.

Lovely property. Spotlessly clean, everything you could wish for. Plenty of soft fluffy towels not to mention firelighters should you wish to use the BBQ. great location on the hill side overlooking the vines. A short stroll from the pretty village of Pierrevert where you can amble up for your morning coffee. Delightful owners who are there if you need them but never intrude. We didn't want to leave for us the utterly perfect gite in an idyllically location, we hope to be back.

Peaceful hospitality in the heart of the Luberon!

Frederic and Christine have a fabulous property situated in a beautiful setting amongst the grapevines. Well kept suite and good layout despite having 6 of us staying together. The photos don't do their place justice - the garden and pool are spectacular. It's what we wanted from an experience in Provence...close enough to walk to the small town to pick up our daily croissants and pain au chocolat and have the feeling of relaxing next to the pool if we needed. The hosts were there when we needed them but were also unobtrusive. Frederic was gracious enough to give us a tour of the local wine co-op and help us through the wine tasting. We would highly recommend their place to others!

Excellent in every way

We loved staying at Les Lavandes. The apartment is on the ground floor of a renovated old house and is superbly equipped with modern furniture. There is a small fenced private garden, but shared access to a much bigger area which includes a delightful private pool (shared with the guests staying at the other gite in the house).The views are extensive over vineyards and olive trees. The boulangerie, alimentation and boucherie are in the village only a five minute walk (uphill). There's easy access to Manosque, the Verdon Gorge, the Luberon and picturesque villages. The owners are very helpful and generous - with some nice gifts on arrival - but do not bother guests at all. I fully recommend Les Lavandes for a relaxing holiday.

Fantastic little cottage

The cottage was great - perfectly equipped for cooking in and relaxing at night. Christine greeted us with a nice bottle of wine and cookies - very sweet! The cottage was clean and comfortable. And the location is great for exploring the surrounding area - Digne, Forcalquier, and the Verdun.

Wonderful Home made for great vacation

After visiting the Luberon many times and staying at a friend's home, this was the first time we rented in the area. So we were concerned. However, I have nothing but great things to say about Frédéric and Christine, and their property. The home was extremely well maintained, well stocked with a magnificent view of the vineyards, near hills and the snow-covered Alpes in the distance. Frédéric and Christine were incredible hosts, providing local information on places to visit as well as welcoming us with a welcome present of rosé, preserves and tapenade! We were a total of 4 and had plenty of space. Plenty of charm and we would rent again!

The best equipped Gite I have ever stayed in.

The property was the cleanest and the best equipped I have ever stayed in. The knives were sharp, plenty of pots and pans, a very decent oven - even a hand blender! The owners were great from the point of booking until we left. They'd left us local wine, jam, saucisson for our arrival and mid-week brought us some fresh grapes. The property is literally within the vines and the views and general sense of being in the heart of Provence is lovely. Pierrevert itself is small but has everything you need and Manosque is only 5km away for the larger supermarkets. The local Pierrevert wine with the shop just up the road is well worth testing! We're cyclists and this is a great base to explore the region - lots of different routes are available. The gite is perfect in that you feel quite remote so you relax properly but you are very close to amenities and activities if you're ready for some action. Excellent value for money.

Ein Ferienhaus in toller Umgebung, was nichts zu wĂŒnschen ĂŒbrig lĂ€sst. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und gastfreundlich. Alles ist liebevoll und modern eingerichtet. Die Ausstattung ist super und sehr umfangreich. Das Anwesen ist sehr gepflegt. Wir können das Ferienhaus uneingeschrĂ€nkt empfehlen!
