Please improve visibility of the crosswalk that goes from the back parking lot to the sidewalk that leads to the hotel. Stairs or a ramp would be great leading from the awning of the hotel to the sidewalk. The sidewalk goes to the corner of the parking lot on both ends but does not lead right to the hotel entrance. Complete preventative maintenance on exterior lighting. Many parking lot lights were out. Painting curbs for visibility on stairs would be helpful due to low lighting near crosswalks and the stairs to the back parking lot.

You couldn't ask for a better location in Pigeon forge. The Island is right behind the hotel and there were plenty of stores, restaurants, and shows within walking distance. The staff were friendly and the hotel was clean.

All staff encountered was very friendly from check in to check out. The hotel is in an excellent location. We got an Island view room (was on the top floor) based off of prior customer recommendations saying there is racing traffic on the Parkway all hours of the night. We enjoyed being able to see the fireworks from Dollywood the nights they did them as well all the action at The Island. The down side of an Island view room is the city trash service empties the dumpsters around 4-5 am and is very loud, but that is not the hotels fault. Breakfast was a nice start to the day. Our only other complaint is the beds aren't comfy. If you plan to visit Dollywood, make sure you park at the Patriot Point Park, pay $3 each for the trolley, and they will carry you pretty much to the ticket area. You can ride the trolley all day for that price. There is also trolley parking right around the corner from the hotel over by the Margarittaville Island Hotel. We are glad we chose Margarittaville Island Inn and will stay there again the next time we visit.
