Not impressed

We checked in late Friday night and the staff was friendly. The room was not very clean and despite the website talked about renovations there were ring spots around the toilet and paint chipping off the door. The pool was not clean and did not offer tables for families. We did utilize and like the continental breakfast each morning but you want to get there early or there won’t be a place to sit. Our room wasn’t cleaned one of the days even though we left early that day. We do not plan on staying here again.

Not for us

In all our years of travel, we have never stayed in a noisier hotel! The corridors were like the school running track and as for the disgusting dog owners that bought their pet away on vacation and then left the poor dog in the room ALL day howling and crying, well shame on you. We did call down to see if someone could check up on the dog, but whoever we spoke to didn't seem to bothered and as it didn't stop, I guess no one checked on the poor thing.

Overall this hotel was ok. The photos online for this location are *very well done* and make it look like a lot fancier of an experience than it is sadly. The staff was all very nice. The room was very small with low ceilings, bed was one of the hardest beds at a hotel, and our lamp next to the bed didn’t work. The pool was smaller than expected and only one small hot tub, its was packed with small children even after 10:30pm so we didn’t end up using it. Breakfast had good options but if you wait until the last hour they don’t restock anything and pretty much all of the options were gone. The property was set back a bit off of the road which was nice. Overall it was ok but more something I’d expect from a lower price hotel, especially since we booked the deluxe room.

I really enjoyed my stay. My kids and I enjoyed the convenience of unlimited access to the pool and hot tub, the nightly movies were great and the popcorn is a nice touch. We did however have to get breakfast from other places due to the limited options available. There was no variety of meats and not much fresh fruit available. But still a great touch.

Nice and clean facility with southern hospitality and charm. Hotel is large and hallways and lounge are very clean. Room was large and comfortable. Bathroom shower was very comfortable but bathroom floor needs makeover and toilet seat was wobbly. Otherwise it’s a nice clean facility and will recommend to friends and family.

Great place for a family vacation! Pool open 24 hrs. They play a family movie every evening at 8pm. The hotel was very nice. Looks like they are in the process of updating the rooms. My favorite part, the shower! Huge shower head, great pressure & hot water made for an amazing way to unwind after a fun filled day in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg. The staff were very friendly and the daily hot breakfast buffet was the cherry on top.

It was enough for our need but the pet charge needs to be clearly shown when using Hotels.com. “Pet Friendly” means they charge a fee for pets PLUS a deposit. Would be nice if this was clearly displayed. Definitely would affect my choice of hotel.
