It is a former 18th-century barn, fully renovated with 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, a kitchen, a dining room with a fireplace, and a beautiful living room with several distinct areas. Outside, there is a garden with a vegetable garden.
El Hayedo consists of two floors: the lower floor has an area of 180 m2, and the upper floor is divided into two sections. Spread across these two levels are 4 spacious double bedrooms, 2 large full bathrooms, 1 half-bath with a shower, an 80 m² living room designed like a traditional courtyard with several distinct areas and two large sofas on either side of the fireplace, a small library, a fully equipped kitchen (washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, oven, glass-ceramic cooktop, refrigerator), and a dining room that also features a fireplace. The decor is rustic, and most of the furniture is antique.

From Burgos, take the national highway to Logroño until you reach Ibeas de Juarros. There, take the turnoff towards Arlanzón or Pradoluengo and continue for about 20 km. Take the right turn towards Pineda de la Sierra.
Some of the activities you can enjoy include:
• Hiking. There are numerous trails, many of which are marked and suitable for all skill levels, ranging from GR trails to others ideal for hiking with children.
• Mountain biking. There are also many trails, but the highlight is the Vía del Ferrocaril Minero, which passes through Pineda on one of its most scenic stretches.
• Swimming areas. Since we’re right next to the Arlanzón River reservoir, there are many areas where you can go for a swim.
• Hunting and fishing. Hunting is very common in Pineda, as it has a large hunting reserve. The same is true for fishing, since we’re right next to the reservoir. Pineda has a fishing school for anyone who wants to learn.
• Romanesque art trails. We’re in one of the areas with the most Romanesque architecture in all of Spain. The quality of the architecture and sculpture is complemented by the scenic beauty of this lovely mountainous region.
• There are also off-road and quad bike trails.
• Skiing at the Valle del Sol resort.
