Beautiful secluded spot 15 min. from Pitligliano

If you're looking for quiet and seclusion, this is a great spot. The indoor thermal pool was nice for a half hour or so soak. We had a car and had just come from Sorano and Sovana...would highly recommend both towns. I think there was a walking trail near the hotel, but it was rainy so we decided to drive 45 minutes to Saturnia to the public thermal cascade...fabulous (and free)!!!. We decided to have dinner at a lovely restaurant half way between Saturnia and the hotel, as it seemed too difficult to drive a car into Pitlgliano. We only had one glich...upon arrival the owner didn't speak English (and we didn't speak Italian), so we didn't receive the paperwork about 'extra fees'. So upon checkout we were surprised with a fee for bathing robe ( hadn't been charged at other thermal resorts), cappuccinos for breakfast (even though breakfast was included in our hotel rate...and we hadn't been charged for those anytime in our 3 weeks of travel). So just a "heads up" on extra fees. Overall, a relaxing stay.

The wonders of Tuscia

It was a pleasant surprise to find the indoor natural hot water pool (Terme) available for a small surcharge. Extremely quiet and relaxing place. Accomadating as we had to leave early in the morning and they arranged breakfast for us.

Dejligt ophold. Engelsk men mest italiensk er sproget.
