Good:-Clean kitchen with nicely sized fridge and freezer-Easy parking-Great selection of streaming and good sized TV-Location was central to everything near East Liberty and Lawrenceville, as hoped-Aldi is a one block walkBad:-The tiny house feels like nothing has been upkept in it since the photos on the listing were taken--Futon is so worn down and without padding that I would say not to plan to sleep on it. We had difficulty sitting on it to watch TV for more than a few minutes before the wood and springs started hurting us.--The bed pillows are flat and worn - even stacking them on top of each other is less than one standard new pillow--The nonstick pots and pans in the kitchen have all been scraped and ruined with metal utensils--The porch light and bathroom light are both broken or burnt outThe biggest issue we experienced was the bathroom. The shower head dumps full stream of water directly against the windowsill instead of the tub, and black mold has grown in the sill and frame. The bed is directly in front of the bathroom, with the HVAC blowing above, and we woke up itching, coughing and sneezing, eventually just keeping the door to the bathroom closed with a towel draped over it to block airflow. The location was perfect enough for us that we stayed the entire length of our trip, but it wasn't exactly comfortable.I would suggest staying somewhere else unless the host makes updates to match the quality and cleanliness of photos.

We enjoyed our stay at the not so tiny house. Bed was super comfortable. Great private space for us as a couple. We did bring our dog but think she would have liked it. Near two grocery stores and several coffee shops/bakeries.

Clean and comfortable little house with great host communication. Very walkable area with restaurants and stores close by. Easy street parking. Would stay here again. We chose to walk to Pitt campus for parents weekend but it is an easy drive too.

This is a good location and fairly clean and quiet. But the owners have neglected the front porch steps (peeling/weather damaged paint), didn’t provide a light on the front porch (which was pitch black @ night), the window blinds need to be replaced, and there was no overhead light in the bathroom. I had to buy extra toilet paper as well. The whole place could use some fresh paint to cover up interior wall marks too. With a little TLC/upkeep, I’d give this place an overall good rating on every criteria.

Tiny House Experience

This was a lovely but very tiny house. Although the listing is very clear we underestimate the space we would need for two adults, an adult-sized teen, and a dog. Our fault we felt cramped! The location was perfect and we think it would be the perfect space for a couple and even a family with a smaller kiddo. It was cool and comfortable and met all our needs.

Great place for a weekend stay. Very small but plenty of storage. The only negative was the sofa wasn’t very comfortable, but we weren’t spending much time there anyway. The owner was very communicative.

Tiny house with a big personality

Had a great time staying here. I had total confidence in my host, and they made me feel very comfortable which was super important to me. This place had more amenities than I even needed! Very comfortable. However, if you visit in the winter you’ll have to bring a portable heater for the bathroom, as it gets really cold in the mornings!!
