The service is what truly sets this resort apart. My girlfriend and I spent a week here and absolutely loved it, but the exceptional service made our experience even more memorable. We spent most of our time at the Platinum Riviera Pool and Bar, where Isabel, Mauricio, Marvin and Magharit made every day special with their warm conversations and expertly crafted drinks. YOU HAVE TO try the Minion shot!! For dining, we couldn’t get enough of Miso Restaurant, visiting three times during our stay. Alberto and Ricardo made each evening fun and engaging, providing outstanding service. The food was fantastic—especially the Teppanyaki! Mornings started with breakfast and lunch at Snack Riviera, where Dalila’s friendly smile and delicious egg white omelets became a daily highlight. Lorenzo at breakfast and Anjelica at lunch also went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. We truly loved this resort and will definitely be back—not just for the beautiful setting, but for the incredible people who made our stay unforgettable.

Loved this resort, everyone is so friendly and it’s also great for kids. The only thing I can say is the juices are watered down, it doesn’t taste great. Food was okay but the restaurants were very nice. I would definitely recommend!!

This resort exceeded our expectations. First off, the staff are incredible - they are very attentive and keep the property looking beautiful. The food was very good - especially a la carte restaurants. We were impressed with the good environmental practices at the resort - reusing cups, no straws, etc. So many pools, so many bars and great service by the pool or beach. We travelled with 3 children and the room setup (bunkbeds) was perfect for us. I can't say enough good things about the Grand Riviera Princess. Thank you for a great vacation!

I would not recommend this resort. There are better options in the price range. The size of the resort is cool at first, but then just becomes a nuisance. You aren’t walking to see anything. You are just walking to walk. This is also the first all inclusive I’ve been to that did not care about guest experience, which is unfortunate as guest experience is everything with this type of vacation. We had an awful interaction with Elias on Feb 8th at the Sports Bar. He asked for our order, then got mad we gave him an order. He asked if we spoke Spanish so we thought he didn’t understand English. We translated the order into Spanish. He laughed while stating, “I understood” in English. He still refused to take an order while having his pen and order pad out. Beats me. We asked what he was trying to do and he got real defensive. We just got up and left as he showed us his name badge. We also reported to front desk and they did not care. Front desk also called the night before for luggage service at checkout. It was scheduled for 8 am. By 805, no one showed up and we were getting nervous as our airport transfer was for 820 and it is at least a 10-15 min walk from our room to lobby. They called as we were getting ready to leave the room with our bags and said give them 3 more minutes. They never showed up. There is only one elevator per building so couldn’t have missed them. We did the luggage transfer ourselves. We told front desk at check out and they didn’t care at all.

Great resort! Food is good and fresh a 4 stars for me not a 5 stars. But since the resort is so nice, clean and the staff friendly and helpful the food is very acceptable. They also have a great choice of a la carte restaurants and La Fleur is an excellent one. The beach is beautiful, lots of shade, water shoes are useful since the bottom is rocky in some area. And the coaties were not a problem, they had a lot less around than when I first visited 5 years ago. We had a great time!!

He ido a cancun 5 veces y este resort a sido el único que no me ha gustado. Esperaba típica comida de la riviera y me decepcionó, a pesar de que era bufett no había mucha variedad de comida típica, mucha comida americana y a eso era a lo que no iba. La transportación decían que pasaba cada 15 min la cual es mentira 1 día duramos 30 min y jamás pasó así que tuvimos que irnos caminando y eran 20 minutos caminando de nuestra habitación al restaurante. Al llegar a recepción pensé que me pondría en mi habitación inmediatamente como en otros resorts, nos tuvimos que esperar todo el día hasta que nos dieran la llave así que fue un día desperdiciado. Pésimo servicio de wifi. Para reservar en restaurantes a fuerzas tenía que ser por la app y a veces no funcionaba, les pedía ayuda con la reservas y me decían que NO que solo por la app la cual es una tontada. Al precio que me cobraron pude haber reservado en mejores resorts y a menor precio por los mismos servicios que fue all inclusive.

My son and i stayed for a week here for his birthday. Everything was easily accessible for us and i noticed it was very accessible for persons with disabilities everywhere on the property which is amazing. The staff was very kind and helpful with all our needs and especially helpful to accommodate my son with a special cake for his birthday. I am considering bringing my daughter who is special needs as she would be able to enjoy full access to the entire resort including to the beach. The beach was amazing and really nice spot to swim in the ocean. The resort has several large swimming pools and some rooms can swim right to the doors of the decks or patios. The food options were adequate with 2 large buffet style all inclusive with many choices of different types of cuisine. It has become one of my favorite places so far and will definitely come back for another stay. I have nothing i wasnt happy with. Look forward to planning a trip with my daughter to this resort.

Being Expedia Gold status, we were upgraded to VIP status and had upgraded rooms, premium liquor included, and access to exclusive areas. A free spa treatment was also included for 2 people per room. I would definitely go back.
