The resort was clean and most of the staff were friendly, which I appreciated. However, if you’re looking for a lively atmosphere or entertainment, this might not be the place for you — there wasn’t much going on in terms of activities or nightlife. The biggest downside for me was the food. Unfortunately, it was extremely disappointing. I struggled to find anything edible and ended up barely eating for the entire week, which really affected my overall experience. Because of the food alone, I wouldn’t recommend this resort. There are definitely better options out there with more variety, quality, and energy

We had a great time on our vacation staying at this resort. We were a little disappointed to see that almost half of the resort was closed down, including some of the restaurants that we were hoping to dine at.

Excellent resort. We stayed for one week with small kids. The buffets were wonderful, I would say good quality food however a little variety in the fruit would have been better ( same fruit every day and too many fruits one can’t eat if you can’t peel them yourself- whole kiwi, whole mango). The restaurants were all excellent! Pools amazing. Only thing that affected us during the construction season was one of the pools had the bar closed and no one coming around to take our drink order (the waitresses were going around the other pools where there were already bars so found that odd). The beach was pretty but almost useless because it was sooooo rocky (you can’t even see the rocks so they surprise you, very painful) and way too much seaweed (they tried cleaning but it was impossible). The kids liked the splash pad at the kids pool (they let us use it even know we were in the regular section). Everyone was very friendly, rooms cleaned daily on time, it was really cool seeing all the wildlife which never bothered people, and the shuttles between the rooms/restaurants/pools/beach were very helpful and frequent. Overall 4.75/5!

Beware anyone looking to book this resort, they are under constriction, we were tokd until oct 2025, or rather the Sunset portion, essentially half the pools, and they are down 2 restaurants, the others are in temporary spaces, or 2 menus in 1 location. The gym is moved into a conference room. There is ZERO mention of this on expedia or the hotel website. Construction noise is at a minimum and the grounds that are open are great.

It’s a good resort at a good value, but what I wasn’t aware of is they were doing renovation while I was there and they had half of the resort closed off and construction work being done. This limited some of the restaurants, the gym and other facilities that we could’ve used if The resort was fully open.

This hotel are under remodeling so 1/2 of it is closed the room are dated and nothing work like AC , bathroom , tv etc

Property was under construction and we were not notified. Half the amenities were not available and there was constant noise at the hotel.

Half the resort was under renovation. Also, I was not aware that you had to pay extra for the kid's activities and our entire trip was for the kids.

Entertainment, room service and restaurants at night were good, need reservation though. Breakfast and buffet menu were the same everyday, lunch offer at the beach bar was way better. Be ready to take shuttles to move around the facility; otherwise, it will take you at least 10 minutes to go to the stores, entertainment plaza, lobby, main buffet or the beach, depending on your room location. The beach is rocky and was full of seagrass, pools; on the other hand, were perfect. Personnel from the hotel were very professional and friendly, room was clean and tidy.
