We spent 5 nights at Xcaret Arte. They hassled us about the time share. We went to the presentation that was supposed to be 90mins that turned into 4hours. I was exhausted after this presentation. I went to the Sunday Brunch at Xcaret Mexico that I paid for, I was expecting King crab legs. I was disappointed after they advised me they haven’t had king crab legs in 3 weeks. The brunch was so expensive that I was left disappointed. I paid for the Sunday Brunch before arrival to the resort and the resort charged it to my room. Once I checked out I had a $400 charge for the Brunch, it took 2 weeks to get that charge off my credit card.The concierge was nice until we did the time share presentation after that he went ghost. I chatted with concierge thru what’s app. Everything we wanted to do he was unable to deliver or didn’t respond in a timely manner.This hotel was on the expensive side and I was disappointed.

Pretty good, even though we got sick

The resort is absolutely beautiful! It's so big that it never feels crowded. Plenty of places to hang out during the day... pools, beach, lagoon, and no shortage of staff to get you whatever you need! So many dining options, and the food is great! The reasons I did not give 5 stars: I thought it was kind of strange they didn't offer or even have water or anything to drink for us at their airport shuttle waiting area. One staff member said they would have water for us on the bus, but they didn't. The excursions/parks/ etc are a bit unorganized and chaotic. One staff member will say one thing and the next will tell you something different. Lots of wasted time due to inefficiency. 3 out of 4 people traveling with us got sick. My husband was out for about 2 days. My friend and I weren't as bad, but still had stomach issues. We all had it at different times, so I'm actually questioning their water. They provide water in glass bottles which they (supposedly) clean and refill. I know they have their own water filtration system... I just wonder if it's taking out everything that might be harmful. I also know that this happens more often than not in Mexico, but it's my 8th time to Mexico, and the 1st time I've ever been sick. I'd honestly go back to give it another try if I were able to have a case of actual bottled water delivered to my room before arrival.

The room service made me almost want to leave bringing me undercooked food as well as not wanting to fix the food when they brought the food not as ordered. Ordered a burger it was undercooked on top of that I asked for it to be well done and with just cheese and they did the complete opposite. Had hella toppings and didn’t fully cook it burger was so pink I would’ve thought they microwaved for 30 seconds. The fact someone would even look at it and be brave enough to bring it to someone to eat is insane. The pizza also was not great either. Outside of that the hotel was very nice and clean. I don’t think I would recommend getting the room service but the rest of the food at the hotel was ok. The staff in the front was very nice. Despite the inconveniences with the food I would give the hotel another try if I come back to Mexico .

Hotel Xcaret Arte by far the best place to stay. You will never want to go anywhere else with everything they have. It was so beautiful
