Fue una excelente experiencia!! Lo único q pudiera mejorar un poco es las opciones en los restaurantes a la carta para la cena ,por lo demás todo excelente!! El servicio en la arena es increíblemente bueno !! Rigo se encargó de hacernos pasar unas de las mejores vacaciones en los últimos años,excelente muchacho,respetuoso y amable como pocos !! Beautiful property with awesome people. The service is top notch as well as the food and drinks. Enjoyed the walks on the beach even though a lot of seaweed the second week Pool was always a nice temperature any time of day. The Riu party’s on Friday nights are crazy fun! Hemos estado en varios Riu en playacar, pero el Riu Palace Riviera Maya superó nuestras expectativas, este Hotel cuenta con todo lo que necesitamos para una estancia confortable. Quiero dar un 5star, pero doy un 4star, debido a nuestra llegada después de un largo viaje, el front desk que nos atendió su nombre es Guillermo, pues nos hizo pasar un mal momento, yo había confirmado con el hotel y directamente con la compañía de Riu hice todos los cambios que debía antes de hacer este viaje, y por alguna razón no aparecían en el sistema. Lo primero que me dijo fue debes llamar a Riu, sin dejarme hablar y me interrumpía constantemente sin dejarme mostrarle mis pruebas de todos los cambios hechos, el adoptó una posición de cero ayuda. Yo tenía todos los emails con las confirmaciones de todos los cambios, como en efecto al final llamo y no era un error mío, si no del sistema k no lo habían actualizado. No creo k es lo primero que queremos encontrarnos después de volar tantas horas en familia y con niños para tomarnos unas vacaciones, si no tiene paciencia para lidiar con el publico pues creo que debe de estar en otra posición. El resto del personal les doy un 10.00000k de estrellas ✨ un servicio espectacular. Señalo el tema de la piscina no tienen capacidad para todo el hotel si llegas pasado las 8am, ya no encuentras lugar para sentarte, pero es un problema al parecer de todos los Riu y es lo que mas veo que comentan en los reviews. Upon arrival at check in we were told that we needed to pay an extra 5000 dollars for our children. That Expedia had made a mistake when we booked and they said they needed more money and an extra room. We were in my opinion trying to be extorted by the staff at check in after two long hours they finally said we could check in. It was too much of hassle made our trip start with a sour note will never go back and haven to endure that level of abuse in another country. We were at a disadvantage given I was with my family. But we didn’t give in and we were allowed to stay. The funny thing was when we contacted Expedia after they let us check in Expedia called the front desk and they said no problem nothing happened which made me even more suspicious about their behavior. NEVER GOING BACK.

The service was great—Joe at the RiuFit was fantastic and Aldo and Antonio at the plaza for all the shows were wonderful. Truly everyone was. The only issue was the food was sub par. We had a couple good meals but mostly left our mealtimes hungry or disappointed. Again—NOT the service. Just the actual food.

property has been well maintained but the ac units still an issue. Stayed here for 5 years in a row and switched hotels for a while. Decided to try again and same issue. We were finally able to switch rooms on third night and better but first two nights were rough Drinks horrible. Food pretty good for all inclusive but drinks really bad at any bar.. ended up not getting anymore and just eating there
