The resort is very clean. Great service. Beach chairs were always available. It is a smaller resort so there weren't as many people. The restaurants were ok. We ended up eating at the buffet (Don Rafael) most nights which was good. The rooms were nice but very odd (as others have mentioned) because there is no wall or privacy for the shower and the bathtub is right next to the bed. When you step out of the shower or bathtub, the entire room can see you. The entertainment was ok, they tried very hard. Overall one of the best resorts we've visited in Mexico.

I booked a round-trip airport shuttle through Expedia, but when I arrived at the airport, the shuttle was incorrectly scheduled and not available. Despite having a confirmed reservation, there was no transportation provided. I was forced to take a taxi to the resort at my own expense, which cost $200. This was a frustrating and stressful way to start the trip and should not happen with a confirmed booking. Expedia should take responsibility for this error and reimburse the additional cost. I expected better reliability from a major travel platform.

Room was great, hotel was always clean, food was good, staff were courteous and friendly. Everything was well organized and activities were great. The beach is beautiful! And I love that they had servers for drinks at the beach as well as at the pools. This hotel also felt safe and is located in a highly secured area. Overall the whole experience was wonderful and should get 5 stars but I gave it 4 because of the bad smell in the hotel hallways and limited elevators within each section of the room buildings. Every morning there was a strong “meat” smell in the hallways, likely from the buffet restaurant cooking their morning meals. It went away by the evening but was strong smelling pretty much all day. Can be nauseating when/if you’re hung over. But this is a location I would recommend and return to.
