From the moment we arrived at Tra Le Mura Bed & Breakfast, our experience was exceptional. Matteo, our host, demonstrated remarkable hospitality; he truly is one of the best in the industry. He arranged for a golf cart to pick us up from the train station, as well as a tuk-tuk to Calaponte Marina for a delightful boat tour. Each morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast on the terrace, accompanied by a refreshing ocean breeze. The location is ideal, with numerous restaurants within walking distance—Via Roma and Grotta Palazzese are just a block away. It’s also a short 10-minute walk to Lama Monachile beach. After our check-out, Matteo kindly contacted us to inform us that we had left behind a ring belonging to my niece, which speaks volumes about the honesty of the staff. The accommodations were comfortable and clean, featuring excellent bedding and a pristine bathroom. Additionally, there is a gelato shop and a place to book activities, such as bike rentals and boat tours, just steps from the bed and breakfast. We were fortunate enough to witness a double rainbow over the ocean during our stay, which was a stunning highlight. I highly recommend Tra Le Mura and look forward to returning for a longer visit to explore more of Puglia. Thank you once again, Matteo, for your outstanding hospitality!

The proprietor was the most kind and helpful person in that position I have ever encountered in my many years of international travel. I have some mobility issues, and he brought our bags both up and down the steep stairs to the rooms. The breakfast on the unbelievably lovely top patio was simply fabulous and had a panoramic view of the Adriatic and old section of town. I highly recommend this spot as the place to stay in Polignano A Mare Italy

Great stay at Tra le Mura B&B, easy 10min walk from the train station and walking distance to the main strip, the room was clean and more than enough, bathroom was a little small but manageable. The host Matteo was really lovely, made check in easy. Breakfast on the roof terrace was great with a wide variety of food. Would definitely stay here again!

What a gem of a B&B! Located in the center of town, walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shopping. Very comfortable with a wonderful breakfast in the terrace every morning. Matteo was wonderful - thank you for your hospitality - we will be back! Grazie!

Very service minded and friendly host. He also took spme time to chat with us at breakfadt and made sure all was good. Good breakfast. The room as well as the entire facility was very clean. Great location in midfle of old town. Many great restaurants within a couple of minutes walk. We had bad luck with rainy weather but everything else was great.

We had the most excellent stay! Matteo helped us navigate the train system to arrive, and set up a transfer for us to and from the B and B. The room was super clean, all the staff was amazing and so nice! He also helped us set up a boat tour. This is an amazing find, and I would most definitely come back!!!

Extremely disappointing!

The property did not offer many of the amenities listed. The room is not waterfront, but the small balcony and the window face the building across the street. The bed was a queen size, not a king one, and it was not accessible on one side, since it was stacked against the wall (which is also a safety hazard). The ceiling in the bathroom was so low that I could not stand straight. Breakfast was not served on the rooftop terrace, and there was no room service either. We were given instead a coupon for a coffee and pastry at a nearby coffee shop. Definitely not what we were expecting and paid for.

Wonderful time!!

Amazing location. The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing, a variety of local specialities, with a superb view of the city and sea. Don Matteo was very helpful and pleasant. I will definitely return and stay there.

Superb place to stay. Amazing places to eat nearby and close to the station. Matteo could not have been more helpful with advice for places to go,bus and train times, and booking boat trips. Breakfast was excellent and service great.

Great location, helpful host

Great location, very helpful host. Was able to message host on Whatsapp for advice on parking which was very helpful. He arranged secure parking just outside the town and then a golf buggy to transport to accomodation with luggage. Room was small but had a nice view and the town is so beautiful you won't want to stay in your room. Beautiful rooftop terrace for breakfast. Only downsides were that there was a very small shower and narrow staircase to lug luggage up to room.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in the historic district of Polignano a Mare. The B&B was extremely clean and located perfectly within the area.I felt very safe whilst there. Breakfast on the top balcony was a beautiful start to the day.

Polignano a Mare is a beautiful place to visit with fantastic waters to swim in. It is very busy but there are plenty of restaurants and shops to cope. Tra le Mura was a fine place to stay in a central location. Matteo, the owner is a most pleasant, friendly and helpful host.
