Lovely stay at the Nine dots Art Boutique

We were so happy that we stayed at nine dots. It is a small intimate boutique hotel located in the center of Ponta Delgada. The hotel was lovely as it was only a year old and was totally charming. The staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating. The breakfast was excellent and the restaurant itself was where we had one of the best meals. The staff provided snacks and water and the hotel pool was lovely. Highly recommend this hotel

The location of the hotel was in the middle of Ponta Delgada which was very beneficial. The facilities in the hotel were very good. Service and food in the restaurant and bar were also very good. The room and its facilities was good too, our only whinge was the time taken for hot water to arrive after the tap was turned on. The staff were excellent and friendly.

The hotel is fabulous. It is centrally located. The breakfast was incredible. They service was outstanding. The room is smallish, but it is modern and designed beautifully. I missed my flight and booked the hotel at the last minute. I was not a happy camper. The hotel sent up a sweet and fruit to my room. They turned my day around and I had the most marvelous stay. The restaurant is terrific as well.

Good central location with walking access to all the main attractions. Street is traffic free from 11am-7pm which means a short walk from the taxi/transport drop-off if you arrive between those hours. Excellent customer service at reception and though small, the bar and dining area are convivial and comfortable. Our room upgrade was one of the 3 rooms with a large terrace ideal for alfresco driniking/dining

From the minute, I walked in the door. I felt welcome. It’s a small boutique hotel with fantastic service, comfortable rooms. This hotel was situated 1 block from the waterfront. The Nine Dots was very convenient to grocery stores, shop, restaurants and bars. High recommend.

I loved my two stays at Nine Dots! It is a gorgeous boutique hotel in the heart of Ponta Delgada. The pool and steam room a real oasis and fabulous. The rooms spacious and lovely. The staff so nice and helpful. I appreciated a room upgrade on one of my stays and on the other that I was able to check in early at 7a on my next stay. Also breakfast buffet was convenient and very good. I look forward to returning again to this gem of a hotel!

My wife and I stayed at the Nine Dots Hotel in Ponta Delgado for a week in March. While the weather might not have been the best in March, the hotel was everything we could have wanted. It is a small boutique hotel centrally located is the city. There is a pool on the ground floor and a restaurant in the lowest level. It opened as a hotel in early 2024, and made excellent use of the historical structure of the original building. Our room was large and comfortable with a nice queen size bed. The staff was universally friendly and welcoming. They always knew us and welcomed us back in the afternoon. My wife is on a gluten free diet and every morning at breakfast they had her gluten free rolls waiting. We highly recommend this as a place to stay in Ponta Delgado.

The staff were all friendly, helpful, and courteous, and the breakfast provided each morning was excellent. We also enjoyed the unique pool experience.

Wonderful hotel. Beautifully decorated, friendly staff, very comfortable and terrific breakfast. One of the best hotel experiences I have had in quite a while. Highly recommended!

Really cool pool, wonderful staff. The pizza was one of the best ever. Liked all the artwork. Very central location.
