Amaterasu is a home where history meets technology, and the digital entrance and home automation blend seamlessly with the natural stone walls, just as new wood is incorporated into the antique ceramic tiles.

The building entrance and the rooms are equipped with smart locks with an access code. The street is pedestrianized, so car access is limited (you can drive close enough to unload your luggage). Los 4 Soles is located just 200 meters from the riverside promenade of one of the best river beaches in Europe: Calzada de Estévez. You can park for free in any of the many parking lots located next to the river, about 80 meters from the building.

Los 4 Soles has been the family home since before 1800, a house built by the great-great-great-grandfather, a renowned stonemason. Upon his death, he left his tools to his son in Ourense, a place so difficult to reach at that time that the great-great-grandfather never even went to collect them. He was the blacksmith who crafted the sunbursts on the balcony, the balusters of the staircase, and many other delicate pieces typical of the area, establishing his own school of craftsmanship. The restoration was carried out primarily by artists of various nationalities who came to the site and offered their skill and dedication to create a beautiful, welcoming, and family-friendly atmosphere for our guests. Now, Los 4 Soles is fully renovated and conveniently located on a quiet pedestrian street in the historic center of Ponte-Caldelas, next to the natural beauty of the Verdugo River. It retains its original architectural features and uses natural materials such as wood and stone, perfectly harmonized with the advanced technology required in modern life. Each of the four apartments is dedicated to a Sun Goddess, drawing inspiration from different cultures.
