The hotel was quaint, food was great and the staff were exceptionally helpful. We booked the mini suite which was beautiful but unfortunately the room was really cold due to the heating not working properly and we had to request the robes and slippers which were not in the room upon arrival. Parts of the hotel are currently being refurbished so there is disruption throughout the ground floor and there is a limited amount of parking on site, reserved for those with a blue badge. Aside from those issues we had a lovely couple of days at this hotel

Great stay at HDV Poole

We had a great time at the hotel and enjoyed an excellent night using the bar on Friday with a happy hour offer and £30 to spend behind the bar if we did not need our room serviced. We accepted this offer and enjoy a great evening in the lounge with our dog Mia. The only downside is that parking is extremely limited to only 12 cars.

All fine, however it was irritating not to have hooks in the bathroom for bath robes & an accessible mirror with enough light for ladies to use when putting on make up etc & men to use when shaving.

The hotel was very clean and room nice but at the top of 2 narrow staircases which I wasnt told about and could been a problem for some. The bar staff were excellent. We ate 8n the restaurant and i have to say it was a big disappointment
