Set on a working farm near Bibbiena, Sant'Angelo Relais is a delightful property located in exquisite grounds. Comprising four buildings, divided into two large apartments, two smaller annexes and a communal living area, this is a good choice for a large group of either extended family or friends, sleeping up to 19 guests. Despite being such a large property, the stone fireplaces, Tuscan terracotta floors and beamed-and-tiled ceilings ensure that Sant'Angelo Relais is far from merely functional. Indeed, its open-plan design lends a wonderful sense of space. You will particularly like the third annexe, which houses a communal kitchen and is framed by large Tuscan windows that give serene views over the grounds and verdant Tuscan hinterland. And while you will of course look to explore further afield - Florence is an easy day trip - Sant'Angelo Relais comes into its own at dusk when low lighting around the villa's exterior and grounds trigger a truly magical atmosphere.

Your party is likely to gravitate to the delightful courtyard, ringed by a stone wall, for meals outside. Children will love playing in the large garden. And while youngsters are having fun, you can relax on the terracotta sundeck by the large private pool with its thatched pergola. Guests can select produce from the farm's vegetable garden. You'll undoubtedly make use of the wellness centre, which features and indoor pool, sauna and Jacuzzi. Other activities on offer include a lake for fishing (please bring your own equipment), tennis courts at 100 metres from the villa (please bring your own equipment) and a ping-pong table (equipment supplied).
