Disgusting and Unsafe – Do Not Stay Here!
I have been traveling for 16 years, and this is by far the worst experience I have ever had. I booked this motel in Wellington specifically because I needed a kitchen to cook for my 4-year-old, but the conditions were unacceptable.
The Hygiene is Appalling:
The couch is the filthiest, stinkiest piece of furniture I’ve ever seen. The carpet is covered in multi-colored stains. Worst of all, when I checked the beds, I found what looked like phlegm/mucus on one of the duvets and deep stains on the others.
Lack of Privacy and Maintenance:
The bathroom door does not close fully, leaving a gap that makes it impossible to have any privacy. The sliding door handles are broken, and there is no exhaust fan in the bathroom, meaning odors spread throughout the entire unit.
Health and Safety Hazards:
The motel provides plates with gold-rimmed designs that catch fire in the microwave—an incredibly dangerous oversight. To hide the room's real smell, they use an automatic air freshener that sprays so constantly it feels toxic and hard to breathe.
Poor Comfort and Service:
The bed was so bad that I am currently taking ibuprofen for the resulting back pain. There is no air conditioning, so you’ll be sweating in a cramped, uncomfortable bed. To top it off, the management is
