Spectacularly beautiful property in a spectacularly beautiful location. Every detail is covered. You could easily just spend your entire vacation right at this spot. But of course it works great for exploring Olympic National Park as well as the Sequim/Port Angeles area. Our group of 3 couples had ample room, and each couple had their own bathroom and additional bathrooms off the living area. Badminton, corn hole, fire pit, hot tub... huge kitchen with a directory for every item (and it has every kitchen tool/utensil/etc you may need!). I could go on for pages, but Steve and his crew run a magnificent property. We would definitely return!

We loved our stay at the Olympic Lodge! The weather did not cooperate for a few of our outdoor adventures, but at least we had a lovely, comfortably, well thought out, beautiful home to come back to and enjoy. Steve and staff have thought of literally everything that one might need to make a memorable stay. From a well stocked kitchen with condiments and spices, plenty of plates and silverware for a crowd, to games and puzzles and even bedside night stands equipped with cough drops. The hot tub was great and we roamed the trails around the property. Deer frequented the yard.Unfortunately, the sauna is/was out of commission at the moment. Note, there are no TVs in the house, which was fine for the adults, but a tough pill for the kids and if you plan on doing much on your laptop for work or other, you may be unpleasantly surprised. The internet speed is super rough. But you’re on vacation, tell your boss you don’t have a good connection and unplug ;-)

Signs, signs everywhere a sign
After the one-half mile drive on a gravel road, we were pleasantly surprised by the wonderful lodge in the park-like setting. Spacious and well-equipped, the owner guides you through the process of operating and using the amenities of the home with an abundance of point-of-use signs, from labeling the hot and cold on the kitchen faucet to opening the cover on the hot tub. Guests also get to know the owner's family through photos and a trophy quilt; all are very lovely and homey touches. If you are a national geographic aficionado, there are several volumes of vintage years to thumb through and many outdoors/travel coffee table tomes. Overall, it's a great home to chill in for several days or weeks.

We had a great stay at Olympic Foothills Lodge. Great place to get together with family. The outside area was great for sitting around the fire, taking a dip in the hot tub and playing lawn games. We loved the fun trails behind the house as well. Inside the kitchen had everything we needed and was spacious for all of us to eat and hang out. Thanks for all of the detail and lovely touches. Great jumping off point to see the Olympic Peninsula.

Beautiful property from the house to the land! Steve and his wife thought of Everything! So many little extras everywhere! So spacious and cozy. It was a perfect place to celebrate my parents' 50th! To top it off, a deer family came up to the house to say hi as did the super friendly neighbor dog! If this place is available, book it!

Most organized rental!
Had a great multi-generational getaway with ages 10-70 at the Olympic Lodge and loved it so much. The huge yard (lots of games), fire pit, hot tub, and hiking trails were perfect for outdoor time in the evenings. The house has all the amenities you could ever want. And labeled so precisely! Would definitely recommend!

Phenomenal property and hosts
I've never stayed in a property that was so thoughtfully designed and organized for guests. The features were amazing ...plenty of places to sleep, bathrooms to spare, large gathering spaces, a hot tub and sauna. The list could go on. But what made it even better was how well it was organized. We found detailed lists of kitchen amenities and a map that told us where to find things. Directions for use of the sauna and hot tub were clear and easy to follow. When we had questions, they were answered promptly. This property deserves all the kudos it gets and more.

The house is beautiful, well maintained and exceptionally functional, especially if you have a larger family! If you have a piano player in your group, this is a perfect lodge to allow your musician to fill the house with music. The sauna is the cherry on top, so perfect after a long day hiking in Olympic National Park.

Thanksgiving eve spent well
Perfect home in the woods to disconnect and detangle from the internet world! We spent the Thanksgiving week with large family gathering, cooked food, hiked trails and explored beauty of Olympic National Forest. We had an unexpected visitor while warming up on backyard hot tub though! Master chief Larion, a friendly dog from far neighborhood was hanging around the property for a while, but the children were slightly spooked by the big sized dog interrupting soccer play! Steve helped bringing in another neighbor to help put the lost dog in garage however it was soon gone and learned he’s a frequent visitor from neighbors quarter mile away. Other than that we enjoyed the stay in this beautifully updated home and would love to come back.

Beautiful home in a serene location!
Stayed for three nights for a family reunion. There were 16 of us. The house is beautiful, and has an exceptional kitchen! We enjoyed the fire pit and backyard for games. It was quiet and peaceful. Lots of birds in the morning and owls at night! The hot tub and sauna were a big hit. I live in Port Angeles so know the area well, but it was a treat to stay at this beautiful getaway, which is an easy launch for many things to explore on the OP. Would stay again!

Wonderful Olympic Retreat
For a visit to the Olympic Peninsula this could not have been better. Well maintained and stocked house that had everything that we needed and more. Loved the sauna, firepit and hot tub and the little trails down into the woods. The layout of the home was very nice with 3 BRs upstairs and the master BR downstairs. Was perfect for our family of 5. Feels remote but you are only 10 minutes from stores/services etc. Easy access to the Park entrance to Hurricane Ridge and especially to the Deer Park entrance. Don't let the 8-mile dirt road deter you, it is spectacular up there!
Thanks - we will be back.
