The setting is a 15th-century country estate with tower, manor house and outbuildings, surrounded by 350 acres of land managed by friendly owners. The historic natural stone house, a former wine press, has been completely renovated and can comfortably accommodate 12 people. The ground floor (with bedroom and bathroom) is accessible for people with reduced mobility. The volume of the three-story building is spectacular. Parquets, tiles, lime plaster and old beams testify to the authenticity of the old houses of the Cotentin. However, modern comforts are not lacking (large flat screen TV, well-equipped kitchen, 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms...). You also have a terrace with a grill, a green area with a swing and a parking lot for 5 vehicles.

Manoir

We stayed here for 2.5 weeks with 6 people (grandparents, parents, young kids), and had a wonderful time. The house is several hundred years old, lovingly remodeled and furnished, and was equipped with everything we needed. It even has a patio with a large table and its own backyard. It is part of a large property that includes an old castle, as well as a farm with lots of different animals (everything from dogs and rabbits to a pig, horses, sheep, etc). The owners live next door in one of the other buildings, and were very open, friendly, and happy to help the few times we had questions or needed help. The kids had an excellent time exploring the grounds, and we all enjoyed the beauty and peace of the place. There are several beaches and smaller towns within a 10-15 minute drive, with no shortage of restaurants, shopping, etc.
