When we arrived, the house had not been cleaned, but was quickly remedied. There is a train that goes by often that can be heard all night. We expected there to be A/C based on the description, but I guess window units are used and had not yet been put in. For this time of year, the weather has been unseasonably warm which is unexpected.Overall, a nice house with plenty of space.

The home’s decor is perfect for the lake! The home is very old, though the kitchen is updated and fully stocked with dishes, pots , pans, etc. no oil or spices. I did not use the kitchen to cook, we only stayed a few days.The bathrooms are nicely stocked with plenty of towels. Small toiletries for 1-2 days are also supplied including laundry detergent.The beds were all very comfortable.Wifi was great, my husband is a medical provider and was able to work from the convenient downstairs desk. Master bedroom desk outlet did not work.Know before you go: the home is old and has extremely low ceilings upstairs. Unfortunately, the master bedroom is upstairs and there is no upstairs bathrooms. Both bathrooms are downstairs.Upstairs is not made for anyone over 6 foot tall. My husband has bad gashes on his head from hitting his head on the ceiling to go to the bathroom at night.I would recommend: Night stands with power available in master on both sides of bed for water and to charge phone. Pest control, there was a spider in upstairs window and ant in kitchen window seal. Thorough cleaning upstairs, downstairs was very clean and tidy.Bathroom, which includes the washer and dryer shower enclosure and door seemed very unstable.Location was perfect!
