Beautiful room. Parking is really difficult when there are events. I would recommend the city add a crosswalk sign and repaint the crosswalks. We did eat at the restaurant, it was disappointing. Undercooked sausage kinda set the tone.

Wonderful place

We loved everything about our stay at the St. Clair Inn. It’s rare these days to find such a place that is up-to-date and yet retains an old-world charm and beauty. Our room was comfortable and immaculate. We enjoyed our delicious breakfast cooked to order in the inn’s restaurant, which we ate while admiring the scenic view along the river. The staff members we met were all professional, helpful, and friendly. We definitely plan to return!

Noisy!

Although it was clear a lot of money has been spent renovating this hotel, our stay was disappointing. The biggest issue we had was with noise. The hallways have laminate flooring, and every step and noise in the hallway was amplified. We were woken up numerous times during the night this way. Also, our next door neighbors decided to have a party at 2:30 am and we could hear every sound. Noise abatement should have been higher on the spending priorities.

The Saint Clair and is a prices upscale property with a great view of the river. This will give you a three star rating. The Dive restaurant was excellent. The other restaurant I can’t remember the name was not open. Breakfast was basically yogurt, pastry, coffee, and some apples.. the biggest problem we had was the room was cold. Could not get the temperature above 69 until early the next morning. The 2 receptionist were the highlight of our visit, Very, very helpful.

We planned this for a romantic getaway. The St Clair Inn was a key part of it and they delivered very well. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The meal in The Dive was excellent. The rooms are updated, nicely done, and clean.

pretty room. no shampoo in the shower (which is a bad surprise!). Nothing gluten free for breakfast. Lovely pastries...but a KIND bar or something like that would have been really appreciated. Good coffee! Really nice staff. It was fun eating breakfast by a great big fireplace. A summer-time stay would be amazing. the river view is breath-taking. It would be fun to walk the boardwalk
