After 16 hours of travel Arrived Jamaica night time to be told by accommodation caretaker "no electricity so best not to come". Drove around in taxi trying to find alternative accommodation for the night. Next morning went to view accommodation, NOTHING LIKE DESCRIPTION. Horrible. We expected 1 bedroom entire apartment, instead poky room and share amenities, a guest already there. Looks like building site in front, ugly shack for view. Church almost adjoining which apparently gets really loud. Taxi driver refused to leave us there, we had no intention of staying there anyway. Not a nice area at all. So, again drove round looking for suitable accommodation for 17 nights. Very disappointed and scary. Since fully reimbursed.
