Due to its central position, no car hire is needed as the beach is just 5 minutes walk, the mini-market is just 50m away and the huge choice of restaurants and gift shops are all walking distance. Alvor is a popular fishing village and is full of charm and character. The town of Portimão is just 5 minutes drive, whilst Lagos is 25 minutes drive. There are many golf courses nearby, such as Alto, Penina, Palmares and Morgado, to name just a few.
