Alvor Sea View Apartment
Our host did not meet us, she advised us that the key would be by the entrance door in a pot full of dirt. Once inside there were no instructions for the wifi or password.
The sliding screens to the balcony from living room and bedroom were both off the track. We had to fix it ourselves. One sliding door would not lock because the latch was broken. We immediately informed the owner and she said she would arrange to have someone look at it. She never did and never contacted us. The whole apt needs a deep cleaning as there was mold on the fridge door and both shower curtains. The cushions for the patio furniture are dirty, stained and ripped. Three weeks into our month long stay, the owner informed us that she has a prospective buyer and could they come over to view the apt. At no time did she advise us that the apt was for sale. We had rearrange our schedule to suit her. She gave us no instructions as to what to do with the key when we were leaving. All in all, she was a very uncommunicative host. We would not recommend this apartment to anyone.
