The amenities, food and staff were all exemplary. During the power crisis, the hotel went into overdrive and did an extremely good job. They can be justifiably proud of themselves. Thank you. A great place to stay. I would recommend it. Next time, I would pay more for the superior room as I think the layout is better.

Make no mistake this is a luxury hotel. The staff were absolutely wonderful; attentive, professional, friendly and polite at all times. It was evident that much time, money and consideration had been given to the the design and decoration of the both the rooms and the common areas which felt contemporary and stylish. The restaurant was exceptionally good, the best hotel restaurant I have eaten in by a long way. The menu wasn't too large, which is a very good sign, but the food was outstanding. I have no hesitation to highly recommend BessaHotel Baixa and I would love to stay there again. Thank you! Ziggy

Staff are very nice and accommodating. They helped me with my Portuguese and knew what I wanted each morning. Additionally I developed a tooth ache and they got me a dentist who spoke English 15 minutes later. The following day they checked up on me! I recommend them highly!

Can’t fault our stay at BessaHotel. Room and pool/sauna facilities were clean and in good condition. Breakfast was 10/10 and the staff were lovely. Would definitely stay here again, thank you!

The indoor pool and health club area is fantastic. The also offer some select balcony units with their own hot tubs. Staff is very friendly and accomodating. Another winner from our last trip to Portugal.

It was my sisters birthday weekend trip and this hotel was a diamond in the rough. We could not have expected such beautiful finishes in every area of the hotel. Very impressed. And the staff at reception could not have been more helpful. The young man at reception took us through the activities available, sightseeing trips, best shopping areas and places of interest.
