Where to start. First night one of the shower drains stopped up and we found out the clothes washer did not work. Woke up in the am to NO hot water and one bathroom the toilet controls were sticking and water just running. I contacted the host and was told someone would come out and address everything. They addressed the shower drain only. That night another person came and said we were out of gas (there was a bottle on the patio when we got there and were told that the gas had just been replaced). I rented a hotel up the street so we could shower with hot water. The next day someone came and looked at everything and stated yes the washer is broken, the toilet controls were broken, did not fix anything, but he did bring gas. They did refund me for the cost of the hotel room that’s it and there was no way to dispute that. It may be in a good location but the space is just bad. It’s also advertised as a 3 bedroom. However, that is not the case. It seems they turned a living room space on the second floor into a bedroom that has a sheer curtain that didn’t even separate the room. In order to get to the two real bedrooms you had to walk through that other space. It is NOT a three bedroom. Adding a bed to a living space does not make it so. We have traveled extensively and stay in VRBO a lot and know things happen but the response from the host was unacceptable it seems they didn’t want to take responsibility in anything.
