The homeade pastries and fresh fruit were the best quality of our whole vacation. Gorgeous balcony view. The staff was extremely kind and generous with their recommendations for places to eat and visit around Porto. And the bed!! Omg! I want to buy that bed and pillows. Best sleep of my life!!

Breakfast was excellent with lots of variety including healthy vegetables, quiche, eggs prepared the way you want. Crepes freshly made. Different varieties of bread too. Homemade sauces and jams. Fresh orange juice and other fresh blended fruit juice. Different every day. Staff very friendly, and courteous. Housekeeping staff-Tayane (she wrote her name spelling for me) always had a broad friendly smile and kind attitude. Front desk staff also very good especially Maria. Anna was good too. Gabriel - manager, very friendly guy. Ready to hear concerns if you have any and attends to it right away.

The reception staff are very friendly and helpful. The kitchen and dining area staff are exceptional. The breakfasts have a great variety, and snacks and drinks are available in the dining area all day. The hotel is in a great location and is walkable to various restaurants and meeting points for tours. The hotel room is cozy and well-designed with enough drawers and counter space. I didn’t give a five-star rating for the property because the bathroom door was not sealed well. Every time after a shower, the bathroom and toilet floors are flooded. I saw similar complaints from previous guests. I guess the hotel always runs at full occupancy and may not have time to fix the problem permanently.

An interesting boutique hotel in a convenient location for getting around. Super friendly staff who were very helpful in identifying places to visit. Nice spacious room with comfortable bed, heritage furniture and modern bathroom. Quiet setting with a big garden courtyard. Nice breakfast buffet and good coffee!

The quiet that’s needed.

I honestly don’t understand how this is only 3 star, the place is very clean, the staff go above and beyond. I selected this place due to reviews saying it’s quiet. As an autistic person I need to decompress and have peace.

This hotel is an absolute gem. Miguel is wonderful- so knowledgeable and gave us excellent local recommendations as well as a glass of port on entry! Room was fantastic- beautifully presented. Area is ideal for walking around Porto. Breakfast is excellent too. All round fantastic experience here.

This was such a lovely hotel. Very clean and cozy. The breakfast was so good. Staff was extremely helpful and spoke English very well. It was very conveniently located to lots of public transit. Highly recommend.

Not worth it...

The room was OK, but the lack of soundproof really ruined the sleep quality. You can hear when the cars are passing, people above you moving or even taking a shower, or even someone who just talks a floor below you.. The shower feels that it will freeze you and then scald you in a second. The garden that looks pretty alright in the pictures, in the real life looks pretty meh.
