We had a very comfortable stay, it is a 30 minute walk to the river - which we expected - and was no problem. Our only concern was there a lack of staff and attention to detail- eg clearing away and providing pool towels, breakfast food.

Beautiful clean hotel in perfect location

The staff were friendly, the hotel was clean, the design was modern and beautiful, the swimming pool was clean and perfect, the location is in the heart of the city with great restaurants and shops a short walk away. Everything was so perfect. Thank you for the great stay. We will be back!!!

Glamour and good service

Wonderful hotel. It was a mansion and it was remodeled into a very cozy hotel. Amazing restaurant area and amazing entrance with Portuguese tiles design onto the walls. Room amenities were very nice. What is unusual for Europe. Rooms very well decorated and bathroom is a piece of art. The garden, at the open pool area, the sauna nd the Gym were very nice. Deeply recommend . Staff were very helpful.

The property is definately not a 5 star rated hotel. Hot water in the shower was scarce. Light switches in room were not working and Ac/ heating inconsistent. The swimming pool did not look clean. Note the property is far up from the center of the town. A long walk to and a steep hiilly walk up.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location is absolutely perfect—conveniently situated near all the main attractions, restaurants, and transport links, making it easy to explore the area. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, with clean and comfortable rooms that provide a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, always ready to assist with anything we needed. The amenities were excellent, from the well-equipped rooms to the delicious breakfast. This property is absolutely beautiful! It was a palace back in the day, and you can see elements of that throughout the hotel, especially the dining room, which is stunning! You feel quite royal dining there. We were warmly greeted by the front desk staff who were extremely accommodating. I forgot the young man's name at reception, but he was extremely pleasant and was able to modify one of my reservations. Paolo greeted us with a smile and a very warm welcoming demeanor. He showed us around the property and helped us with our luggage at both check-in and check-out. He was a pleasure to converse with and always very polite and attentive. I have to give big props to Sofia who so eagerly helped me with so many questions and restaurant reservations! She rocks! The room was very spacious and it boasted a nice sitting area. It had all the amenities one could ask for. The buffet breakfast in the exquisite dining room was delicious and plentiful. It also included champagne. Would return to the property in a heartbeat. Very reasonably priced, great staff, beautiful property, and a short 10 minute walk from the center of Porto and Livraria Lello. Loved it!

The hotel is located in a walkable area near shots and restaurants. However during my 3-day stay, there was no hot water and water pressure was very minimal. I would not stay at this hotel again.
