Very Noisy

Extrememly noisy! Kept awake all night due to hearing talking and snoring from the adjacent. All noises from reception desk echo up the stairs to all the rooms.

For an old boutique hotel it was acceptable. The tiny shower was a challenge to wash in. And when they say “parking available” there is only one spot down a very narrow drive and you have to reserve the spot and pay $12 a day. A larger car than a compact SUV would be difficult to fit. The motion sensing lights in the hall could be set a little longer to give you time to get into the room. We didn’t pay for the breakfast, opting to walk a couple of minutes away for a less expensive one. There was no signage on the building with the name, just “hotel” in a position you had to look closely for. Overall, the stay was alright and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Nations League trip

As it's name suggests, the hotel is charming. Great service, clean, boutique style hotel within walking distance (10 mins downhill) of city centre. Hotel car park was full but arrangements were kindly made for use of a nearby secure car park at hotel rate.Small cosy cafes nearby during the day.

The hotel is out of the center in a semi quiet place, but quaint, fully redone, the staff was nice. The breakfast was simple but sufficient. The only improvement is that they use a little too much perfume in the lobby.

I had to ring several before a clerk showed.
