What we like the most was the reception. Our stay at Pousada Jardim das Margaridas was very special, not only because the location is beautiful and very convenient for accessing beautiful beaches and the Quadrado, where there are bars and restaurants with a lively nightlife, but above all because of the attention and hospitality of all the staff. Everyone was very friendly and ready to give us great tips on excursions. Many thanks to everyone, especially Camila, Cida and Gil. See you next time!

You feel you are in paradise at the moment you check-in. The staff is extremmaly friendly and nice. They meet you by name, always check if everything is fine. The pousada is very cozy and clean. I loved the breakfast and the afternoon tea.

Wonderful stay

This guesthouse is wonderful. The owners have taken great care to design an intimate yet casual environment, set in well maintained grounds with a nice swimming pool. It is a 5 min walk to the quadrada (the only place in town for restaurants and shopping) and a 10 minute walk to Trancoso beach. I saw a few negative reviews about the pousada breakfast, but i thought it was excellent - this is charming yet slightly rustic Trancoso, if you want an all-you-can-eat buffet with all mod cons then perhaps Las Vegas is instead the place for you! Personally I prefer Trancoso….

Pousada maravilhosa! Pensem em um local acolhedor! Eu simplesmente amei. A dona do estabelecimento e os funcionários são muito atenciosos, os quartos são amplos e muito limpos. O local dá muitas dicas dos melhores estabelecimentos para vivermos o melhor de Trancoso em poucos dia de estadia, que foi o meu caso. A pousada fica próxima ao quadrado e ao mesmo tempo com aquele som da natureza que amo. Custo benefício excelente!

Nice place, friendly people

Friendly people and very pleasant owners and staff. Garden and breakfast room very nice. Room is basic and this is an expensive area and so its not the best value for money...but thats the same in the other pousadas too. They run transportation to and from main bit of town in the evenings, nice if you not very good at walking. Its very generous on their part as the walk is not long. A/c in room was bit noisy and intense and so couldnt find the right levels in this room. Not had a problem in other places,so this made sleep not so good. Its a safe and warm place to stay with a happy and welcoming group of people. Cleaner seems pro, i saw her ironing on the sheets and she knows her job. Bus leaves to Caraiva at 8.30am, we heard it was 8am, its not. So if you going to Caraíva you got time to grab a quick bite and then leave 8.10, walk and get bus. Its quiet at night here and so no road or people noise disturbing sleep. Good location for the walk to beach, its a bit of a walk,but not bad really (unless you got bad legs).

I had a fantastic stay at Pousada Jardim das Margaridas! From the moment I arrived, the staff was extremely welcoming and made me feel right at home. The room was clean/comfortable and the communal space was beautiful. It was easy to walk to the beach or quadrado. I highly recommend this place!

My family and I loved the Posada. Everyone and everything their was great. We had an awesome time! It really feels like you’re at home. The staff is very sweet, always had great recommendations. The check in and check out was so smooth. Would recommend this posada. It is located in a great location very close to the Quadrado and the Plaza where you can find tasty eats!!! Will defined miss this place and the lovely staff as well as Sofia❤️

Execelente! A localização bem perto do famoso Quadrado, dá pra ir a pé embora fizemos de carro todos os dias. A jardinagem é impecável, pra quem admira vai ficar deslumbrado. A piscina é uma delícia e maravilhosa especialmente a noite com as luzes acesas, fica bem charmosa. Pegamos a suíte superior com varanda. O quarto é bem limpinho e organizado. A varanda é uma delícia. O café da manhã é completo, doces, frutas, e opções que saem direto da cozinha quentinho à sua escolha. As meninas são super simpáticas e maravilhosas! Voltaremos com ctza!
