Quiet, beautiful setting on the bay while sheep graze. Staff was friendly and helpful. The cold breakfast was quite large, with a variety of meats and cheese, fresh vegetables and fruit, cereal and muffins. The bed was a little hard and it would have been nice to have something to place our toiletry kit in the bathroom.We loved the towel warmer!

Location is good, except for the 2 mile drive down a one lane track often decorated with sheep (which aren't an obstacle, but do look rather odd in the headlights). Our room was musty and damp, with a nest of spiders in one corner that was not removed for two days. The staff are absolutely indifferent to the guests, spending most of their time playing on their phones.

Nice guest house.

We have a two floor cabin and it was fairly nice. It wasn't really nice, just nice enough. The included continental breakfast had the usual items. For the money, it was a good value.

The hotel is located quite far from the city center, which may not be ideal for those hoping to explore more easily. Reaching it also requires navigating some rough roads, with potholes—some nearly a foot deep—that make the drive a bit of an obstacle course. Dining options are extremely limited, and the breakfast was just so-so.

This was a beautiful rural property with lots of character. the road in was a single lane road with lots of potholes, but once entering the property the driveway was great with easy parking. rooms were large on a courtyard configuration. On site restaurant served excellent food and staff was outstanding . The complimentary continental breakfast was awesome and a lot more then we have experienced in other establishments. An outstanding stay and will highly recommend.

The property needs a re-boot! Despite our room having a recent upgrade, repairs are in order. The bathroom floor is lifting and the baseboards in and around the bathroom door are dirty, the tub faucet needs replacing - the button controlling water temperature will not turn to cold. It took numerous attempts to close one of windows as the mechanism is sprung. The carpets in the room need cleaning and the hallway and stair carpets are dirty and lifting. Young afternoon/evening staff are friendly and helpful. The same cannot be said for morning staff in the dining room. Worst coffee of my entire trip through Scotland!

My Daughter and I stayed at Redwood house for 2 nights. we were in suite C4 with I believe is due to be renovated. It was clean and cozy. The staff/owner were very accommodating and friendly. The restaurant was fine, however, it did not in any way fit the description as advertised on the web sight. It might be beneficial to update the web sight.

Peter and Annette were so warm and welcoming and so personable. This is a gorgeous location! I actually got up early to watch the sunrise over the water-- so beautiful and peaceful. Rooms are large and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast in the morning may have been cold but what a spread! Great place to stay on Skye.
