Ventilation in room simply does not work. Temperature fixed at 35degrees all night Informed night reception, who advised to just switch off if too hot! ie, no air in room. Fantastic check in staff, friendly service at breakfast, but room is not comfortable for this reason.

Perfect location for many of Portsmouth attractions all within walking distance, friendly & helpful staff, great breakfast with plenty of healthy options as well as full English, & offer a takeaway service if your to rushed or have attractions planned. Hotel is spotless & we found it great value for money. Would definitely pay a return visit & recommend to family & friends

The room was spotless, and quiet, the lack of water pressure and hot water was soon rectified, breakfast was well presented with a good choice of continental or hot food, overall would recommend this hotel a big shout to Finn the receptionist.

It’s all a bit run down! The breakfast was sub standard and exposed for all germs. A jar of marmalade and A knife.ewwww for all to share. We were given a disabled room! You wouldn’t want to walk barefoot

Great hotel, but needs to improve beds

Hotel service very good, friendly staff, great breakfast choices and easy to get about locally. However bed was terrible, felt like springs broken and could not sleep very well.

Perfect location for a stay close to family who live in Southsea. Everything we needed, including a bar to relax for an hour before bed. Free coffee and water in reception was awesome. All amenities on the doorstep in a wonderful safe environment. I would stay here every time.
