Overall it was OK but not worth the price. Good things; Beds were very comfortable, the hotel staff were very friendly, helpful, and informative, There was a fair selection of breakfast items. Good location close to downtown Poulsbo, plenty of parking and easy to park 12-passener van. HVAC unit was heated quickly. Room looked clean and bed sheets were clean, smelled nice, and had no stains. Bad things: There was a thin blanket but no comforter on the beds, so we had to turn up the heat, which caused excessive dryness and dry mouth by morning. No elevator, and there were no rooms available on the first floor so we had to drag heavy bags up stairs (yes we could have asked for help, but price was already high). In our first room the toilet ran very slow and ultimately clogged. I borrowed a plunger (because it's just a clogged toilet, no big deal), but it took longer than It has ever taken me to clear another toilet to get that one to go down. Later, even with flushing first then adding paper before flushing, it clogged again. We changed rooms after the first day and the second room toilet ran slowly and clogged once too (even with flushing, then paper and flushing again). Carpets looked clean but were very dirty and soiled our socks when walking upon them. Cooked eggs, both hard boiled and folded omelets with very cheap yellow waxy tasting cheese were offered first two days, then no eggs after that. Room service only cleaned coffee pot 1 day & supplies for it 2days

This was a great place to stay! It was quiet, the staff were friendly and helpful, and, what I liked best was (only understood by people my age) the toilet height was taller, the bed height was shorter and there was only 1 TV remote!

This was a 2 night stay. The room was spacious, the small fridge had ample room, and the beds were comfortable. I had a great sleep both nights. Everything appeared clean. The breakfast held many options and was a decent spread, with the coffee actually tasting pretty good. Although we had dogs in the two rooms to one side of us, and a lot of yapping from them, we are not early sleepers and they did tire out by midnight, but I am not going to complain about that, just acknowledge. The lady at the front, as I mentioned it to her, said if I had wanted, I would have been moved without issue, and willingly and positively accepted the information I mentioned at check out (as I said, it wasn't an issue for us, and was only giving a heads up for possible future guests). I would absolutely stay here in the future.

Staff super nice, Our room was nice and Clean. The hotel is nice and kept up, outside as well. It needs some updates and minor repairs & tile/shower updates, in the rooms, at least our jacuzzi room. When we left for the day and came back into the hotel room, it was heavy smell of chlorine. We never ran the tub. King size bed, but sheets didn’t fit well and kept coming off. And, I’m a pillow girl, they NEED NEW ones. Toilet Slllooowww flushing. So not that’s not that big of a deal. LOVED THE OUTSIDE HOT TUB! Hubby took Soak in the rain bout 50 degrees, he said felt amazing. The property was really pretty, especially, out our back view. Didn’t hear anyone in the halls, if they were walking or our neighbors if tv was on or off they were talking. Loved that privacy too. We would def stay again, convenience to our daughter and the town was exceptional!

The hotel itself is fine.. clean enough and very affordable. Glad it's dog friendly too I've stayed here several times throughout the last few years, and what really bothers me, is the non welcoming nor warm greeting upon arrival. I'm a very warm friendly person and when I have to stay here it's because one of my dogs is at the emergency vet up the road.. so a warm friendly smile and welcome would just mean so much... but I never received that here. Otherwise, the breakfast staff is nice and location is fine

Friendly staff and the hotel was very clean. If you're up for a short walk, it's easy to get to Front street for shopping and festivities. Dining options are mostly strip mall locations, but there are hidden gems. I couldn't give 5 stars because the hot tub was a disappointment. The water temp is tepid and it's located in the parking lot at the back of the hotel.

I used the Guesthouse Inn for clients from out of town and they loved the place. They did not get to check out many of the available amenities but the room was immaculate so I imagine everything else would be good quality as well. I presonally loveded the location as it's convenient to shopping, public transportation, restaurants, historic downtown Poulsbo and the waterfront by car or by foot. I will most definitely use this place again for visiting clients or family.
